Snohomish County Public Utility District (PUD) today publicly released a new set of evidence showing Enron energy traders fabricated repair needs in order to take a Nevada power plant offline during the height of power blackouts in California in early 2001. The evidence also highlights illegal gaming schemes that crossed into Canada and involved senior Enron officials. PUD evidence reveals that Enron’s market manipulation started at least two years prior to the western energy crisis as part of a premeditated plan to reap unjust profits from western consumers.
This would be bad enough, of course, even if Enron and Bush were not like this [holding two fingers very close together].

There were some deaths of elderly folk due to lack of energy, price increases, and supplies being terminated.
Some Enron folk were caught on tape laughing about socking it to the "grandmas".

Didn’t you just know at the time that cheney and the energy companies were behind those blackouts. I must confess here that I did, and said so to many – who remained open-minded but skeptical. The single-minded, devil-take-the-hindmost greed just radiated off c like an evil miasma.
I’m glad it’s finally coming out. Now to tie c to it directly, through his secret "energy policy" meetings.
Before all of us are dead the truth will come out. Cheney’s "energy task force" was secret for a bunch of reasons…Halliburton, Entergy, Enron, and others were feeding at the trough of the Iraq War before 9/11. The failure of the mainstream press to investigate what has already happened is a bottom line disgrace.
If I’m not mistaken, "Kenny Boy" Lay (Bush’s pet name for the boss of Enron) spent two nights at the White House during Bush’s presidency. The second was AFTER the first revelations had come out. What did they talk about? Baseball? Pollution problems in Houston? Could it have been something about covering one’s ass-ets?

Don’t forget the documents from the Energy Task Force meetings, showing maps of the Iraqi oil fields. Sorry, no link, but this was all well before 911, which also ties into their compliance in the 911 attacks because in order to get at those oil fields, they needed a reason to be there in the first place. Hence the need for, what PNAC (neocon Project for the New American Century) called, a " Pearl Harbor " like event, in order to get the American people behind an invasion.

Oh, Robert – but to hasten the process! That is the key! It’s all so transparent…once people started daring to open their mouths, credibility wouldn’t be a problem. The world is too precious to sacrifice to cynical monsters who would destroy anything and anybody without batting their eyelashes.
This is all so unbelievable and vile. I watched "The Manchurian Candidate" tonight, and, believe it or not, it didn’t seem far-fetched at all.

Yes Peg C, I meant complicity. I was just now looking for that article at Online Journal. I saw it the other day but didn’t have time to read it, so had returned to find it. Nice coincidence that you would be pointing me in that same direction. I’ve read the other four as well as other startling and disturbing information at that site. I will go read it now and get back to reply.

Hi, Winter & Everyone – Reading all this makes me SO ANGRY – WITH THE DEMOCRATS!!!! It’s THEIR job as the "opposition" to be investigating and keeping on top of things!!! Time to vote in NADER and sweep the White House, Senate and Congress clean – fumigating first. Oh, it’s so upsetting. What’s wrong with America????

That article at Online Journal includes a petition link to Elliot Spitzer, that dastardly Democrat, to reopen the 9/11 investigation. Please sign it. We aren’t all weak-kneed.
A footnote to the above post, I went to the petition site and was unable to access it – "Page not available." I wonder whether it’s been "shut down" or whether there are so many people eager to sign the site couldn’t handle the load. I’ll try again later.

I think several comments here about the cheney energy meeting secrecy must have major validity.
They are stalling, stalling, stalling with the litigation.
I wonder if they are also purging, sweeping, and cleansing the documents even as we speak?

Of course they are! The stalling has to do with the creation of detection-proof forgeries, I’m sure. Given enough time, any crook can "prove" that he didn’t, in fact, do anything wrong.
Hi, Supersoling – Thanks very much for the websites. It’s GREAT that Americans are suing DYMYA! Make him go down in history as the worst, most evil and most hated, "president", ever. If more and more lawsuits are launched, this will AT LEAST help raise questions and reduce the confidence of his supporters. As for the budget, I don’t even have to read about it – no doubt, it will now make America’s working class and poor "pay" for the tax breaks given to the rich, since America’s is basically "bankrupt". WHERE is the revolution of the masses? They need info, info and more info. I know I have to be patient – it’s not where, but WHEN, and it maybe coming sooner than we think!
