I'm satisfied that substantial vote fraud affected the 2004 election. At www.electionfraudbounty.org they are raising $1 billion to pay for information leading to conviction of those responsible for hacking and altering the voting records. If the hackers are in America, their lives are most likely in danger. However, I've heard that Diebold brought in "computer technicians" from overseas just prior to November 2, who tinkered with the voting machines during the voting period, and then left the country. Can we, the public, get the names and addresses and all relevant information concerning of these "temporary workers" through FOI?

That illegal solicitation of corporate gifts is bad enough, but decorating it with The Great Seal? Ohio has its own seal, as does every other state. If its use by a non-federal official isn't illegal, it should be. But maybe he's just hinting that messing with him means messing with REALLY big guys.
Shucks, all this talk of seals reminds me: seals are very lovable, sociable, fairminded critters (except when they're "in season" or giving birth. Models of evolutionary success that the GOP could do worse than copy.
P.S. The above is not a legal opinion.

Hi, Brad - Could you or someone contact the major media people and ask if they had heard about the $1 billion electionfraudbounty? The smell of big money should make them fall all over themselves to get the story. Anyway, many thanks for your site. So glad I found it, so many great people. And don't worry, Atty Jimmo really finds us facinating - he'll be converted yet.

Even if the Diebold hackers are "imported" temporarily from abroad to conduct the crime they cannot runaway. Under proper legal protocol if such hackers are identified then they can be questioned and charges can be drawn by FBI. Subsequently arrest warrants can be issued. If they are of foreign nationals then a 'red corner" can be issued through Interpool. They can be arrested in the country they are in and brought to US (I think this depends on the inter-country agreements).
Peggy, INS now under Dept. of Justice has the information of all the temporary workers sponsored for temporary visas. If a law suite is filed, I think under 'Discovery' such information can be obtained from INS.

Hi, Bando Bling - Thanks so much for the info. I am concerned that the Bushites may control so much of law enforcement, that no one with any authority is investigating this. They are all too comfortable, or corrupt, or too afraid of the Bushites.
If Iraq is WWIII, then the attack on the citizens of the United States and seizure of all their institutions of law and authority is a vital part of that war. Although it's ironic, perhaps the citizens of the United States should call on its allies and law enforcement throughout the world, who are no admirers of the Bushites, to help overthrow the Bushite tyrants. It is in their best interests to topple the dictators who wish to control the all the wealth and assets in the world, through bombs, death, lies and terror if necessary.
Osama must be laughing his boots off, if he wears any. Finally, though he should recognize, the war has always been waged by the insatiably greedy rich off the backs of the poor, in every nation throughout the world. The American people are not his enemy, the Bushites are, and all those like them, throughout the world. Americans have no democracy - they cannot chose their leaders - Just like those who feel undertrodden in the Middle East and throughout the world. So, what do you do in the end? Take up arms? Sorry, I'll shut up now.

Using the Great Seal of the United States for purposes of campaigning or fundraising is certainly illegal for Congressional candidates (every now and then, an incumbent tries to do it, and gets dressed down by the ethics people). I have to think the same law applies to those who have no business whatever using it, such as a state official.

You are right Peggy! With 'good' Republicans in a state of "common psychosis" and Bush cartel in complete control it is hard to accomplish much.
However I think our 1st priority is push for the elections reform. So that stops anymore future hacking, rigging, vote manupulations, suppressions, fraud, cheating etc..
And we should also pursue 'Votergate' and get to the bottom of this.

If you've noticed, these current rulers are following some cookbook recipe of dictatorship ideas they're copying from history... a little Hitler, a little KGB, a little Stalin. I think they're having a hard time really kicking it off, as incompetent as they are. Their warfare techniques are not cutting it. You've got to have a better military than this to build some fool world empire. They're not going to get far. Iraq will probably do them in. They are confused and out of rhythm. A lot of people are hip to what they are attempting. They don't have the potency, nor the experience to create a totalitarian state. They just dress up as big guys and try to play the part. People aren't falling for it. The pitiful followers are the minority, and they have always acted like this. I think we can all pull this off. The Velvet Revolution.

I really hope our laws are not dead and gone at this point.I don't see anyone taking out after Tom Delay, Kenneth Blackwell ,or Bush himself for that matter. We can, with justifiable outrage, pinpoint the illegalities, but really, who will enforce the law? Bush owns almost everything. If we have no way to enforce it, then what real power does it have?
We have grown up following the law, and we are so obedient. I am really concerned about this. For example, at the polls, did anyone shout "citizen's arrest" at the illegal actions of poll workers? Did they stand up and say NO! when asked to step into another line for another seven hours? I'm guessing they didn't. I probably wouldn't have either. We OBEY. But what happens when the laws become really crazy? Are we going to be obedient? Or are we going to stand up and be arrested? Should we start forming groups to back people who are hauled off? Provide bail, scream and shout to every available media outlet, cause such a mess that it's harder to arrest us than just forget about it?
Doesn't this sound scary and yet it seems like it's coming. I am thankful that the "administration" is still mostly
pretending that we're a democracy with laws that work. But they've become so blatant and lawless lately that I'm very worried their arrogant confidence means they feel secure in their power and that they will drop the pretense and announce their intentions, and we know what those will be.
I hope Teresa is right and that whatever horrors they intend to heap apon us will be inflicted in such a half assed manner that we laugh ourselves to death at their ineptitude. Tonight I read on buzzflash that Virginia may (or will) enact a law that will require women to notify police within twelve hours of a miscarriage or face a year in prison.
I'm not a lawyer so anyone who is, please feel free to correct me ,or disabuse me of any of my notions. I would actually like that, since they're a little grim right now. .

If there's going to be a Velvet Revolution, I think it would be appropriate to include Alaska and Hawaii. The flag displayed on the site is not our current one.
Blackwell doesn't worry about complying with the law except when it suits his purpose. Typical GOP rule of law i.e Clinton lies about a stained dress and is impeached - Bush lies about everything and kills thousands and is considered on a noble mission. There's another word for the type mission Bush is on and that's why I call him "Crusader Rabbit". The world is in serious trouble from a President who cannot admit or recognize his mistakes and repeated assaults on our Constitution by Christian fundamentalists.

The groundwork has been laid so the next stage is execution of the real intent of their neo-legislations. Oh God, I love you all so much! But we need to examine the Autist Principle, which decrees that all opinions held are valid, a prori, by autistic divination.
The Bush Doctrine mandates that everything the Bush Administration conceives as truth is, in FACT, truth. Anyone believing anything to the contrary is a "lost soul" and a "traitor."
This is psychopathology at its most advanced and non-reversible stage. This is fascism disguised as politics.
When sycophants "buy into" diseased psychology, we must be persuaded that the "system" is fatally flawed. In past episodes of moral sickness, politicians rushed to defend honor, not degradation.

Do you know whether the Constitution Restoration Act of 2004 has come up again yet?
That piece of inspiring (so to speak) legislation that would establish divine law. All of you probably know it all too well, but if not, go to www.yuricareport.com. If you have a drink before you read it, a hot bath and a hershey bar afterwards, you ought to be okay.
To everyone, I'm so glad you're out there because it can be lonely knowing terrifying things when lots of folks still can't see them yet. But you do, thank you, I feel your strength and hope.
I think the dismissing of facts as conpiracy theory is, at least partly, a collective defense mechanism. People don't have to address the terrifying truth. I don't blame them but it's time to wake up. People can't drive when they're asleep.
The other part must be that the culprits want to encourage the "it's just a conspiracy theory" defense mechanism and probably conspire to do just that through media manipulation. It's in their best interests. It's sort of a collusion. They want people to be asleep and most people agree completely.
Peg talked about diseased psychology. I see this too. Especially the projection part. We all do it occaisionally but not as a matter of policy! It's as essential as breathing to the neo-cons. They're full of stinky goo that they can't own, it's much easier to see it in everyone else. This is how to create your basic demon! That would be us: "liberals".

The true heroes in life are in our imaginations. And we strive, ideally to become them in our individual lives. We have the chance to do that now. We can't let our fears keep us from realizing this. No matter what our little politicians do, we can triumph with faith, will, and right action.
Societies cycle constantly between oppression and freedom. It is natural. So.... we are in a down part of the cycle. This has happened over and over to all people. And they have survived, and thrived.
Within oppressed states, new freedoms are revealed that we didn't even know.
This is not the end. And no one can predict how bad things will get.
The braver and smarter we are, now, as we come together to build a better society, and the more we believe in our success, maybe the sooner we can end this sorrow, and cycle back up. To an even greater freedom.

re: #18, #28, #33: thanks to Bluebird and Torqued for your good comments.
re: #39 and #40: Yes, Joan, it's real. It's been in the pipeline for a long time. I have a few comments, as usual:
[1] Regarding the name, note the cynical reversal of historical truth. An act whose very purpose is to shred the Constitution is called the "Constitution Restoration Act", in the same way that the act which stripped many of our voting rights was called "Help America Vote Act", and the act that eviscerated the Bill of Rights was called the "PATRIOT Act", and on and on ... I'm sure you can think of more examples without even trying.
They are trying to sell it by pretending that the US Constitution created a Christian nation and that somehow the 'liberal secular humanists' have managed to 'secularize' the country. Of course quite the reverse is true. The Constitution was [and still is] a secular document. No particular religion was granted any special treatment by the Founding Fathers. Citizens were meant to have freedom of choice as to how or whether they would worship. The name of this act is indeed a cruel and cynical fraud. Sort of like the election, now that I think of it.
[2] This is not only about the imposition of Biblical law. It also would create a situation where no government official, elected or appointed, could be effectively prosecuted in any court for any act, as long as he was willing to say that he believed he was following instructions from God when he committed that act.
It is indeed ironic that a nation founded on the rejection of "The Divine Right of Kings" would stand on the brink of enacting a law granting "The Divine Right of All Elected and Appointed Officials".
[3] Is it unconstitutional? That's a really good question. But it doesn't really matter as long as the Supreme Court is packed with judges who owe their allegiance to the King. Oops! Did I say "King". I must have meant "President". Oh well. Just practicing, I guess.

I wonder how fringy these ideas are in the repug camp. Are these horrible deaths contemplated only by the looniest of the loons, or, are they fixed solidly in the mainstream? Do they want to kill lots of us just because, or do they only want to hang a few body parts over the city gate to scare us into submission? This question may just hang in the air, since none of us live in looney land we may not have any answers--yet.

About the Restoration Act, et al. Republicans hired marketing and publicity firms some time ago to help repackage their image and even the naming of their legislation. They've done this time and again with environmental legislation...making their bills sound good for the environment when actually they help polluting industries.
The Republican Party has become the Party of fraud! Their platforms, their laws, and even their backdrops are all tailored like some slick sleazy con-game to hide true intent! All designed to deceive, exploit, fool, conceal, defraud, and manipulate public opinion and the American people!
They're also doing it in the military with psy-ops and public realtions agencies handling their media exploitation. They've been lying and deceiving like this for years! Is it any wonder the Iraq War and our elections are the products of fraud and deception. They're becoming marketing managers and ad agencies, not government officials or departments.
How about the revelation that the Education Department paid a bribe of $240,000.00 to a radio host in order to plug administration policy during last years election! A secret snow job to get him to endorse the administration and its education policies without telling his listeners he was being paid to do so! They even had pre-arranged interviews with key administration officials to spread their propaganda. And who says the media hasn't been bought? Wonder how many other BUSH secret media deals like that are out there? And guess what? You paid for it with your tax dollars!
This goes right along with the Medicare ads where the administration was promoting its new Drug Bill with what appeared to be a real newscaster providing the information, when he was actually a paid actor! Or when the young Kuwait girl testified before Congress about Iraq attrocities after the 1990 invasion of Kuwait, just before approval for WAR! Turns out it was fabricated testimony set up by a Republican linked media agency working for our psy-ops intelligence and military services.
Folks...we're being lied to...deceived...defrauded! I would really like to believe that we can work within the system to get things changed, but I'm pretty fed up with it all! I honestly believe our government, as a whole, has become so corrupt it is no longer worth keeping. Viva la Revolucion!

Bluebird,
Yes, when I saw that site last year I was pretty amazed. Actually, the Texas Republican Party Platform has plenty of this right-wing Christian Dominion plan in it! George Bush's State of course! So it is finding its way into the Republican political mainstream, or should I say bloodstream. GRRRR! Dracula! LOL
Also, there is an effort in South Carolina to have the State secede from the Union, again, in order to create a separate Christian Dominion nation within America. The infamous Bob Jones University is there! Now I also hear Jerry Falwell is creating a Christian Dominion ideological law school at his University for the future right-wing lawyers and leaders of America! Sieg Heil!
Furthermore, they're now making a big push to get on local and state school boards. I know in Texas they are approving sex education textbooks that advocates "abstinence" only sex, or what I call the unnatural interruption of sexual maturity. LOL
I'm surprised Texas is even allowing sex education anymore! Of course, it's still being taught too late for most young people. (I think the new sex ed books in Texas have a bird and bee on the hard cover, and then you turn to the one page of content inside, where there is another bird and bee picture!) LOL
Also, in Pennsylvannia there is one school board that Dominionists quietly took control over and they're now requiring text books to show that Darwinism/Evolution is only a "theory", which it is anyway, while adding "Intelligent Design" as an optional theory that must be taught. In other words, Christian code words to bring creationism and, therefore, religion back into public schools so they can attack evolutionary thought. Those right-wing Christian Conservatives don't want to hear that they came from apes, or actually more to the point, from black people in Africa 4 million years ago!
Yes, they are busy as bees, organized, and using years of church-based grass roots to get out their candidates and voters, fund media propaganda and campaigns, and keep working to elect people like George Bush. But they're not invincible and eventually their fanaticism will catch up with them. I think we had better catch them first, though, since I don't want them to realize their biblical fantasies of global nuclear war and armaggedon!
As I've said before, probably the greatest danger to America and the world is the merging of Christian Dominionism and our Military Industrial Complex with the most powerful and lethal military on Earth. Unfortunately, that is exactly what's happening!
What fun! LOL
I've been trying to reach Luke Skywalker and Hans Solo to help us, but R2D2 keeps telling me they're not in our solar system at the moment! Humor people! Humor! LOL

Believe it or not, there are larger forces at work than these human conglomerates. We are all players in a much bigger game.
All attempts at global domination have failed. Just look around. Diversity and autonomy prevail. It's the human condition.
Probably all governments were meant to be brought down, as we evolve and learn to create systems that work. This one will come down. Probably rather quickly.
Our modern day physicists are all but certain that parallel universes exist.
The fundamentalist religions, I believe, are taking their last dying breath, as they no longer serve the purpose of evolution. Of course, we don't know how long that breath will take, but many people will be unharmed. They will probably do most harm to themslves. It's important to be aware, though, and stay protected.
The future is bringing more scientific, intellectual religions. We can already prepare.

The letter does not use the Great Seal of the United States, exactly. Somebody has put the Star of David, symbol of Israel, on the shield over the eagle's head!

Winter Patriot #41 [2] Recall that Bush is going around telling everyone "God" told him to attack Iraq. Guess he hopes that legislation will pass!
Freebird #48 - I say, let South Carolina secede and let all the Christian Dominionists go there.
Somehow, I can't see Blackwell and Bush getting along so well. Blackwell is rather "pushy" isn't he? Bet he knows a lot of stuff Bush wishes he didn't!

Can anyone think of a way to get an ad campaign going to publicize the Constitution Restoration Act of 2004? If people knew they could (might not, but could) pressure Congress. Before it's too late. I spent yesterday emailing www.theocracywatch.org, and www.yuricareport.com to my email circle. It's not enough. There's a web page by a conservative named Chuck Baldwin who says passing this bill is more important than who becomes president. This law is the centerpiece of their ideology.
Their incredible arrogance in believing they speak for God, that they own God, personally know what God wants for others, (if God "wants" anything!) , that their version of God makes them think they should throw rocks at any person's head, innocent or not, kill "incorrigible" children and people with a non-traditional sexual orientation, or really just anyone who doesn't agree with them, angers me beyond all sense. How did they become the repositories of such hatred and fear? They're so afraid of real spirituality practiced by psychologically developed and spiritually hard working people who don't need to reinforce their own beliefs by forcing them on other people, who are not only tolerant of other ways, but actually relish them. They're afraid of people who know that the urge towards spirituality comes from within the human psche, and that whatever form it takes IS the spiritual- religious integrity of that person. It can't be legislated. And it's different for every person. People can't be bound in a narrow collective like this, we're meant to be individuals as well. Don't they see the loathing their repressive actions have already inspired against their religion? Love is what changes people. Hatred, fear, and opression just make people lie.
The fabulous example of Jesus doesn't deter them, they seem not to see him or take his actions seriously. They don't seem to have even the slightest understanding that he
exemplified the completeness and individuation they're so hungry for but can never find in an undifferentiated collective. Jesus didn't kill people. He didn't kill people he was angry with and he didn't kill people he disagreed with. He knew you shouldn't hate people because it poisons your own well. He knew you should withdraw your projections from people by "pulling the mote out of your own eye" so that you can see the reality in front of your face. He knew that love was the real connection with others, and that a legislated morality is a mockery of a substitute because it is, by definition, without a heart. He also doubted himself, he asks if God has forsaken him while he's dying. He didn't have absolute certainty that he knew everything and was right about everything. He even doubted God! And he was Jesus! So if Jesus can doubt God, what right does anyone have to throw a rock at anyone else's head? Please, self righteousness is a terrible thing!
I hope it's apparent that this is not a Christian rant, it's a spiritual rant. People's religious and spiritual beliefs arise organically, from their experiences and thoughts, that is, when it's done through self knowledge, individually, and with hard work. Not through a collective. That alone is not religion or spirituality, that's identity. I understand the sadness of people who don't have enough of themselves yet so they resent the expressions of completeness in others. But this is the wrong way!! History says it doesn't work. It isn't good. People do not thrive and prosper. If people had a real genuine grounding in their own spirituality they would embrace and LOVE the religious and spiritual differences they see all around them. It is my personal belief that diversity of religious expression, expresses the complexity and simplicity of the great spirit: we are all the same, we are all different. We are many, we are one. We complete each other and become one through our differences. So each slightly different petal makes the flower.
Brad, thank's for the bully pulpit.

Yeah, Bluebird.
These pitiful people are truly psychologically disturbed. Fear has got them by the throat.
And to top it all off, that damned Hollywood spectacle, Thr Passion of Christ, just got an award.
They are pathetic.

Thanks for your excellent points on Jesus and on respect for the diverse beliefs of others. I'm reminded of Bishop Spong, who has spoken & written on this issue. I remember hearing him say, in regard to those who claim to "know" God, that God is the deepest, most profound mystery; that it it the utmost arrogance to claim that one has solved that mystery & then proceed to condemn others for not sharing one's beliefs.
Personally, I have a problem with the whole concept of "worship". Forgive me for quoting myself, from a paper I wrote in college:
"Why would God, having created us such flawed, doubting creatures; having cast us clueless, compassless into the chaos of life, have then required that we worship that which we barely understand?"
Somewhat inelegantly put, perhaps, but that's how I sees it, friends.

Teresa, thank you for the support. Another film is coming out with Orlando Bloom , called "The Kingdom of Heaven". It's about the crusades! I guess we'll have to wait until it comes out to see if Hollywood has started catering to the far right. It makes me nervous. Aside from the propaganda issues if they start whoring for the right, there is the problem of living in an aesthetic wasteland! These people will repress artists and make terrible art themselves. I know this because they don't have a relationship with the unconscious. It's cut off . Their unconscious minds are acting autonomously and pathologically, in my view. Their "art" will reflect this. It will be sentimental, and predictable, because it will only reflect back the wall in their psyches. It will conform to their agenda which means it won't ask any real questions. It will be bad bad bad. Think of that awful power icon statue of Saddam Hussein.
Joan, the way you sees it is fine with me!! You remind me of Dostoyevsky, my favorite author. And to my mind, you are asking the great questions.

Haha...Dostoyevsky, wow! that's a hoot...I am unworthy to lick his boots. But thanks. I plead guilty to being intoxicated with words...
Speaking of spiritual beliefs, I heard an interview on Air America Radio yesterday with Robin Morgan, whose piece in a new book "What We Do Now" is purportedly full of quotes from those madcap Founding Fathers of ours about their views on religion, warning about the dangers of uniting church & state among other things. Some of them were agnostic, some evidently atheist & deist. Sounds worth a perusal. Sounds woth a perusal.

They saw some really bad shite in England. I don't blame them for running as fast as they could from any organized religion. I read something by Desmond Tu Tu and will now do a pathetic paraphrase of what he said: religion is neutral, like a knife. The knife can be used to hurt someone, or it can spread butter on bread. Harmful or helpful. Our little psyches are the culprit. And they can seemingly make a mess out of any ideology, religious or not. Look at what a carnivorous monster captalism is. It could have been used for the general good, but, fueled by ravenous and unfettered greed, it joined the dark side and became postively medieval, complete with feudal barons and serfs (us). Marry the crazy side of capitalism to the crazy side of religion and voila!!!!! You get the Bush "administration".
Take care Joan.

You are absolutely right, Bluebird, about being cut off from the unconscious and the crap that these wannabe artists put out. I think we have been in that aesthetic wasteland for a long time.
I do believe, however, that truly valuable art will be emerging. Repression does that, historically. It's too powerful a force to be stopped. It's vital to man's survival and we especially need it now. It has always been intrinsic to revolution.
So get out your paints and brushes, grab your cameras and axes(musicians), and let's go!
Are you an artist, Joan?
