Whether these allegations are true and should be tried, it sure seems to follow the 7-to-1 ratio of prosecuting Democrats to Republicans during the Bush DOJ. And all this while Sanford undergoes another GOP sex scandal. It's really disheartening to hear of these local indictments on the same day as Conyers' wife and on the same day Conyers was having the hearings on the DOJ. As Marcy noted, the charges against Mrs. Conyers have been coming for a while - but the timing happens to be right when Conyers is looking into the political crimes of the Bush DoJ.
