Those who blaspheme the Holy Spirit will burn in Hell. That’s a rough statement but I didn’t say it.
Either you are writing it because you believe it Paul, or you are writing it because you’re a douchebag with nothing better to say. Neither one is something to brag about.
Oh, and those who stand by and support their President murder thousands of God’s children will also burn in Hell. That’s a rough saying but I didn’t say it either.
What about those who falsely acclaim Bush as an agent of God?
Johanna – Do you know what the definition of "God’s children" is? I bet you don’t. Do you think all people are children of God? The answer is no. The Bible tells us who are children of God. After your next tirade, I’ll tell you the answer.

johnhp, all Christians are agents/followers/believers of God. So, not knowing your definition of agent, I would say yes.

i just have a humble belief in what Jesus said, Those who do the will of my Father. He even gave us examples: feeding the hungry, giving drink to the thirsty, clothing the naked, etc. i dont see mislead a nation into war and stay when those people dont want you on the list.
Paul – I have no clue what YOUR definition of God’s children is. I guess to you, God’s children dont’ include the innocent people who are being killed in this war. I’m sure you’ll tell me terrorists are not God’s children too. But again, I must remind you – terrorists are not the only ones being killed here. And really , by killing innocent people in the hopes of killing terrorists is doing exactly what the terrorists want. You’re just doing their dirty work for them.

In fact, as you well know, it is in fact civilians who are most likely to die. i guess that’s one way to solve unemployment.
In case you guys haven’t figured it out, we are in a war. Innocent people will be killed especially when terrorists hide behind them.
Johanna – We are all “created by God” but we are all not “children of God.” Only “believers” have the right to be called the children of God.
Galatians 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself

When a baby is killed in the womb or before they are old enough to know right and wrong, they will be in Heaven. You Johanna are not a baby and therefore, you know what is right from wrong and you know about God and his son Jesus Christ. You Johanna will therefore have no excuse when you meet God for judgment (Romans Ch. 1).
I know that God has used Israel to destroy nations in the past and God has used other nations to enslave and destroy Israel. I also believe that God has used America to free nations and spread Christianity throughout the world. I have to have faith that what is going on in Iraq is in God’s hands. God is in control of all events. Even though God allowed Hitler to kill 6 million Jews, Israel was restored as a nation for the first time since 70 AD. God is in control! Are we in a holy war against Islam or at least Islamist extremist? Is it good vs. evil? Perhaps. The Bible says that there is spiritual warfare going on.
Ephesians 6:12
For ours is not a conflict with mere flesh and blood, but with the despotisms, the empires, the forces that control and govern this dark world–the spiritual hosts of evil arrayed against us in the heavenly warfare.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
By the way, whether you like it or not, the world will someday be destroyed by fire. You can take that up with God if you like, not me.
2 Peter 3
The Day of the Lord
1 Dear friends, this is now my second letter to you. I have written both of them as reminders to stimulate you to wholesome thinking.
2 I want you to recall the words spoken in the past by the holy prophets and the command given by our Lord and Savior through your apostles.
3 First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires.
4 They will say, "Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation."
5 But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water.
6 By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed.
7 By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.
9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.
11 Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives
12 as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat.
13 But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness.
14 So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him.
15 Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him.
16 He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.
17 Therefore, dear friends, since you already know this, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of lawless men and fall from your secure position.
18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.

Don’t forget my favorite:
"How can you love God whom you cannot see if you do not love your brother whom you can see?"
That is THE test. Not what you claim to believe but how you live. Matthew 25 also makes this clear. Your statement justifying civilian deaths speaks volumes. Especially in light of this Administration’s stated goal of precision warfare. 20 civilians dead for every military death isnt pretty.
