Did anyone notice that, of the most viewed pages from the earlier statistical survey, at least 5 of the pages (2. thru 6.) had larger numbers of hits than the pages that replaced them in the later survey and that at least two others from the earlier survey should likely have surpassed the total number of hits that some of the most viewed pages in the later survey had received in the interval between the two surveys. What gives? Does the survey only represent a given period of time then start over? Still, almost all of the pages that replaced them were still related to the topic of homosexuality. It is also interesting to note that while the number of "Main Page" hits increased by 567,832 from the earlier to the later survey, the number of hits for the 2nd most viewed page, "Homosexuality", increased by 874,284 ?!?! What's that all about? Are the viewers bookmarking the "Homosexuality" page and just bypassing the "Main Page"?

@Steve - it is possible those pages were merged with the main "homosexual" page and thus no longer exist in the wiki database as distinct pages, and therefore would not have seperate statistics any longer.

The point is fundamentalist Christian Republicans are titillated by homosexuality because they live in the closet.

Increasingly it looks like the in-the-closet vanguard of the Log Cabin Club Republicans are in the party's drivers seat. Take look at the folks aorund John McCain. And take a look at all those recent stories - from murder in Florida, to Patrick McHenry (NC), to repubs caught cruising, to the unfortunate Republican county commissioner Barclay who apparently made 500 films of himself playing with male escorts. Given that most of these guys are chickenhawks, you got yourself a yuppy version of Ernest Roehm's brown shirts. That's where Adolph and anal come together.
