Regarding the last cartoon, it is conveniently forgotten that the Boston Tea Party was an anti-corrupt affair. It was the property of the East India Company that was thrown overboard because they were squeezing out the little guy.

Today, 1% reap the benefits while 1% of us serve, something which is not sustainable and that President Washington* found unacceptable.
