Been there done that … and no wonder the Texas ego is so huge.
One can travel and travel and travel and never seem to get across Texas.
There were a bunch of Texans in Alaska when I lived there. We used to tone them down a bit with a threat to cut Alaska in half, making two states out of Alask, and thereby making Texas the third largest state.
