On today's 'BradCast': It appears that Trump Attorney General William Barr's willingness to beclown himself to the level of Donald Trump didn't help much in protecting the President against his own clearly criminal and impeachable behavior. As detailed by the redacted version of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's long-awaited report, Trump's repeated and now well-documented attempts at obstruction of justice have been uncovered for all to see, while at the same time exposing Barr's willingness to peddle Trumpian lies to the American public about what it said prior to its release. House Judiciary Chair Jerry Nadler (D-NY) has subpoenaed the Justice Department the full, unredacted report, and will require Barr and Mueller to testify to Congress. After falsely hailing the report before it was released, on Friday, Donald Trump railed profanely and incoherently against it. Award-winning opinion and analysis journalist HEATHER 'DIGBY' PARTON of Salon and Digby's Hullabaloo offers insight and analysis into the report itself and the second day of fallout, as several 2020 presidential candidates join growing calls for impeachment proceedings to begin in the U.S. House. We also examine whether Democrats in the House and Senate (not to mention Republicans) will find the backbone to do the right thing and fulfill their Constitutional responsibilities to hold Trump accountable, or whether they'll continue to pull punches, as they have done for so many years, allowing dangerously criminal and unfit clowns like Donald Trump to ascend to the Presidency in the first place...
