'BradCast' 8/11/2023 (Encore: Alito's Corruption; New Trump court losses)
08-11-2023 (53.27 MB)
Encore: original airdate 7-31-2023. On today's 'BradCast': The Wall Street Journal has published a fawning interview with U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito, in which he falsely claimed, 'No provision in the Constitution gives [Congress] the authority to regulate the Supreme Court -- period.' Apparently, Alito has never read the Constitution's Article III, Sec. 2, explicitly stating the Court is subject to 'such Regulations as the Congress shall make.' The WSJ article was written by an attorney with a landmark case pending before the Court next term -- 'Moore v. U.S.' asks the Court to abolish all future attempts to establish a wealth tax on the nation's billionaires as unconstitutional. Donald Trump sees more losses in court as judges in two states rejected frivolous lawsuits and motions. Callers weigh in on Supreme Court reform, wildly corrupt Justice Alito, and the Trump's array of criminal charges and probes.
