On today’s show: The Justice Department has indicted dozens of gang members in a criminal conspiracy for "attempted murder, kidnapping, maiming, and conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine." No, they aren’t violent undocumented immigrant members of “MS-13” -- they are members of the all-white, Arkansas-based New Aryan Empire. Yet Donald Trump hasn't mentioned them during any of his false anti-immigrant rants. Trump reportedly will accept a deal struck between Congressional Democrats and Republicans to avoid another shutdown that contains less than if he'd accepted the deal he reneged on last year. Sean Hannity of Fox ‘News’ appears to have given Trump permission to accept the compromise, while calling for Trump to declare a "national emergency" to steal even more tax-payer money for a wall. The deal includes $23 billion for border security, but record debt and deficits are clearly not a problem for today’s pretend "fiscal conservatives": the Treasury Department says the national debt has topped $22 TRILLION for the first time in history, increasing by more than $2 trillion since Trump took office thanks in part to the GOP’s unpaid-for $1.5 trillion tax cut. But it's not immigrants that pose a threat to those living on our southern border, it’s lawless federal agents: Trump's U.S. Customs and Border Agents are breaking into private property and threatening to seize private lands of Americans who have lived on the banks of the Rio Grande for generations, while staging heavy machinery in preparation to bulldoze the National Butterfly Center and nearby wildlife refuges. Executive Director MARIANNA TREVINO-WRIGHT explains the federal government's intrusions on their 100-acre butterfly refuge, detailing how insects and animals will "sentenced to death" and devastation by the wall, plus the lawsuit the Center filed this week to stop the destruction. Also today: the surprise resignation of Trump FEMA Director Brock Long.
