Among the stories covered on today's show: We've been here before - Donald Trump is lying again about his border wall and Congress is days away from another potential government shutdown over Trump's demands. El Paso city officials debunk Trump's false claims about a border fence in El Paso, Texas in advance of his campaign rally there. Congressional negotiations are stalled as Republicans and Democrats work to avoid yet another federal government shutdown on Friday. Many furloughed federal employees have not yet been received backpay, or received only partial payment for working during the shutdown. Senators Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) announce their intention to run for President in 2020. In Virginia, both Gov. Ralph Northam and Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax insist they have no plan to resign. African-American leaders in the state have called for Northam to remain in office and make amends, and new polling reveals that a large majority of African-American voters in the state agree.
