On today’s ‘BradCast’: Everything is now happening all at once, apparently! The U.S. House voted to revoke Trump's "national emergency" declaration. The nation's top U.S. general for homeland defense told a Senate committee there is no military emergency on the southern border; former national security officials told Trump that his declaration is unjustified and unlawful. In Congressional testimony this week, Michael Cohen, Trump's former personal lawyer, is expected to testify that Trump committed criminal acts before and since becoming president. Trump partisan Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) threatened Cohen via Twitter, a potentially unlawful attempt at criminal witness tampering and/or intimidation. New documents allege thousands of children were sexually assaulted during detention under Trump’s family separation policy. In North Carolina’s 9th House District, disgraced Republican candidate Mark Harris says he will not run again in the do-over election of the Nov. 2018 race that was tainted by GOP election fraud -- leaving the field open for several Republicans to run for the seat, getting second bite at the apple, despite getting caught committing election fraud the first time out. Also in NC: a state court judge has nullified two state Constitutional amendments placed on the ballot by Republican state lawmakers because their super-majority was built on an unlawful, unconstitutional racial gerrymander, and therefore the illegitimately constructed chambers did not have the lawful right to place those state measures on the ballot in the first place. Kids across the country are pushing back against adults trying to suppress their free speech rights. Kids protested at the offices of Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) to demand action on climate change and passage of the Green News Deal resolution. Plus Desi Doyen has the latest ‘Green News Report’...
