'BradCast' 11/18/2019 (Taking callers' temperature on impeachment after Week 1 of public hearings)
11-18-2019 (53.58 MB)
On today's 'BradCast': We open up the phone lines to listeners who have a lot to say about their opinions on impeachment following week 1 of public hearings in the US House Intelligence Committee. Also today: Donald Trump and Republicans lost again as Louisiana's Democratic Gov. John Bel Edwards was re-elected in a weekend run-off election (according to Louisiana's 100% unverifiable touchscreen voting systems, which are shamefully used across the entire state). GOP Senators on the ballot in 2020 may be looking closely at the Louisiana results as they weigh whether to vote to remove Trump, should there be an impeachment trial the U.S. Senate. The 'American Carnage' that Trump pretended to promise to end continued with another mass shooting, this time at a backyard party in Fresno, CA. Against the recommendation of the Defense Department, Trump pardoned three military members accused or convicted of war crimes in Afghanistan and Iraq, and promoted one of them, sending a clear signal that the American Carnage WILL continue. Trump tweet-attacked a senior staffer for Vice President Mike Pence, Jennifer Williams, a witness to Trump's phone call strong-arming Ukraine's President. Williams is now scheduled to testify in the public impeachment hearings this week. The walls are closing in around Trump, with 9 witnesses set to testify on the Ukraine bribery scandal in open hearings this week. We open the phone to callers who have a variety of opinions on whether the first week of public impeachment hearings has moved them -- one way or another -- on the matter. Buckle up for much more 'BradCast' impeachment special coverage in the days ahead...
