On today's 'BradCast': Special coverage of Tuesday night's one and only Vice Presidential Debate before Election Day. The polite debate between Minnesota's Democratic Gov. Tim Walz and Ohio's Republican U.S. Senator J.D. Vance was surprisingly focused on policy, but suffered from a lack of fact-checking from CBS News debate moderators. Vance used politeness to unleash a flood of provable lies, masking his well-documented, autocratic MAGA policy preferences on everything from abortion to gun safety, climate change to health care, while gaslighting voters on his running mate Donald Trump's violent attacks on our democracy. Walz stumbled early on but later found his footing, displaying a command of facts, data and reality.
