On today's 'BradCast': A survey of the 2020 Democratic Presidential primary field, as Democrats fight to shape their party's identity to both save the planet and win enough voters to prevail in next year's presidential election against race-baiting criminal and presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump. Global warming intensifies: the Arctic hit record high temperatures in the 80s, Mauna Loa Observatory in Hawaii measured 415 parts per million of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere for the first time in human history, 19 of the hottest 20 years on record have all occurred since 2000. At a rally to promote the Green New Deal on Monday, Rep. Alexandria Ocasion-Cortez (D-NY), Sen. Ed Markey (D-MA), and Vermont Senator and Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders criticized Democratic presidential candidates who suggest there can be a "middle ground" on climate action. Candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden (who was not present) citied his record as a champion of climate legislation since 1986 in disputing reports that he suggested a 'middle ground' approach. Montana's Governor Steve Bullock officially entered the 2020 Democratic Presidential primary race as a 'centrist', touting his record winning three statewide elections in a so-called "red state." Bullock is one of at least four presidential candidates who many Democrats would prefer to see run for the Senate to take the majority. Daily Kos' Markos Moulitsas says Democrats can't change the minds of previous Trump voters, and it's a waste of time and resources to try. Progressive Presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren explains her reasons for declining a Fox 'News' town hall invitation, labeling Fox a "hate-for-profit racket." Is Warren's principled stand a strategic mistake to miss the opportunity to reach out to many voters who might otherwise hear little more than Fox' fake news and GOP propaganda? We welcome your thoughts. Plus Desi Doyen has the latest 'Green News Report'...
