On today's 'BradCast': Primary season for the 2022 Midterm elections gets underway this week with primaries in Ohio and Indiana, where voters are forced to vote using state Republican lawmakers' wildly partisan gerrymandered maps. New polls show huge bipartisan majorities of Americans support President Biden's actions regarding Ukraine, including sanctions against Russia, and sending military weapons, humanitarian and economic aid to Ukraine. Yet in the very same poll, only a minority of Americans say they approve of Joe Biden's overall policies in Ukraine. What is behind the disconnect? Russian President Vladimir Putin is getting help from folks on both the far-right and the far-Left in the U.S. spreading misinformation and disinformation about his ongoing, brutal military invasion of sovereign neighbor Ukraine. Why is it so difficult for some on the Left who claim to be anti-war (like us), who were critical of the U.S. when IT was the empire invading a sovereign nation (as we were), yet are now having great difficulty condemning Russia for doing the very same thing? We open up the phones for a lively exchange of ideas and debunking of Russian propaganda.
