'BradCast' 4/13/2023 (Justin Pearson Reseated in TN House; Justice Thomas Still Corrupt at SCOTUS)

04-13-2023 (53.2 MB)

On today's 'BradCast':  Democratic state Rep. Justin Pearson was re-seated at the Tennessee State House on Thursday after he was expelled last week by the out-of-control, racist, gerrymandered GOP majority. Pearson delivered searing remarks in his return to the statehouse, before Republicans tossed out the rules to ram through a vote on a bill censoring free speech for college students. U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) fatuously called for arming schools like banks just days before the mass shooting at a bank in Kentucky. New polling data indicates the majority of Americans have noticed the Republicans' pro-murder, pro-Big Government, anti-free speech, anti-democracy idiocy. After only 100 days in the majority, House Republicans have an abysmal and falling approval rating of negative 24 points overall. If you thought you'd heard the end of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas' decades-long crime spree, think again - - a new investigation by Pro Publica builds on their previous reporting showing that the corrupt Thomas failed to disclose lavish gifts and luxury travel, as required by federal law, that were funded by GOP mega-donor Harlan Crow. New reporting reveals Thomas also failed to disclose that  he sold property to Crow, including the house where his mother still lives. Also today: An incredible 25 inches of rain in 24 hours crippled the city of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Plus Desi Doyen has our latest 'Green News Report.'
