'BradCast' 9/13/2021 (Last call before perilous CA Recall; Also: Brad's 'Presidential' 9/11 speech from 20 years ago)
09-13-2021 (54.6 MB)
On today's 'BradCast': Election Day for the California Gubernatorial Recall is on Tuesday, and many have already voted by mail in the nation's most populous state. The CA Recall election has disturbing national implications if Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom is removed from office in California and replaced by rightwing talk show host Larry Elder. But CA Sec. of State Dr. Shirley Weber has declined to mandate a statewide post-election Risk-Limiting Audit (RLA), as recommended by the nation's top cybersecurity and voting system experts, after the theft and public release of Dominion Voting's election management system software, used in much of the state. Voters in Los Angeles County also reported problems being allowed to cast their ballots, in yet another failure of the County's new electronic pollbook system. In commemorations over the weekend marking the 20th anniversary of the horrific terror attacks of September 11, 2001, there were many repetitions of the false claim that 'America came together, united as one after the attacks.' Callers weigh in on the California Recall and their thoughts about the 9/11 anniversary, and Brad shares part of his 20-year old, never-published 'Speech to the Nation Were I President (which I am not)', which likely would have resulted in a very different America and world today...had he been President...which he wasn't.
