But I wanted to take a moment to at least point you towards Lambert Strether&#8217;s <i>very<\/i> smart and <i>very<\/i> welcome piece on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nakedcapitalism.com\/2012\/09\/what-voting-can-look-like.html\">&#8220;What voting can look like&#8221;<\/a>, wherein he points to Canadian elections and German elections and, yes, <a href=\"https:\/\/bradblog.com\/?p=7417\">The BRAD BLOG&#8217;s own piece on &#8220;Democracy&#8217;s Gold Standard&#8221;<\/a>, to make the case for hand-marked paper ballots, hand-counted at the polling place, with results posted at the precinct before they are moved anywhere.<\/p>\n<p>He gets it. So, thank you, sir.
