{"id":94,"date":"2004-04-25T14:49:47","date_gmt":"2004-04-25T18:49:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.test.bradblog.com\/?p=94"},"modified":"2004-04-25T14:49:47","modified_gmt":"2004-04-25T18:49:47","slug":"mclaughlin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bradblog.com\/?p=94","title":{"rendered":"McLaughlin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>You still can&#8217;t beat <i>The McLaughlin Group<\/i> for lively, entertaining Sunday Talk.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/BradBlog.com\/Images\/McLaughlin.jpg\" hspace=\"6\" vspace=\"3\" align=\"right\">While McLaughlin&#8217;s (usually) self-aware pomposity is at least half the fun, the spirited half hour &#8212; sometimes substantive, sometimes less so &#8212; never fails to amuse.<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly enough, after having lost track of <i>&#8220;The Group&#8221;<\/i> for the last several years until I finally found them again recently out here on <i>Saturdays<\/i> and on <i>PBS<\/i> none the less, McLaughlin himself has taken a suprising turn to the Far Left. At least in regards to his views on Iraq and all the countless flaws thereabouts wrought by Team Bush.<\/p>\n<p>None the less, Eleanor Clift still makes my ears bleed.<\/p>\n<p>Last night&#8217;s fumbled sign-off was a classic:<\/p>\n<div class=\"media\"><b>McLaughlin:<\/b> NEXT WEEK! &#8212; <i>Is<\/i> the oil at the&#8230;uh&#8230;UN scandal a tempest in a teapot or is it a tempest?!<\/div>\n<p>Bye-bye!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You still can&#8217;t beat The McLaughlin Group for lively, entertaining Sunday Talk.
