Can&#8217;t imagine where that &#8220;racist&#8221; NAACP came up with the crazy idea that there are &#8220;elements of racism&#8221; in the Tea Party. [<a href=\"http:\/\/maddowblog.msnbc.msn.com\/_news\/2010\/08\/02\/4800276-incredibly-racist-tea-party-comix-ctd\"><i>Hat-tip Maddow Blog.<\/i><\/a>]&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"http:\/\/maddowblog.msnbc.msn.com\/_news\/2010\/08\/02\/4800276-incredibly-racist-tea-party-comix-ctd\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/BradBlog.com\/Images\/TeaPartyComix_ObamaSmoking.jpg\"><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>And while we&#8217;re on the topic, kudos, at least, to former <i>National Review<\/i> editor David Klinghoffer for correctly identifying <a href=\"http:\/\/www.latimes.com\/news\/opinion\/commentary\/la-oe-klinghoffer-conservatism-20100801%2C0%2C3905768.story\">in an <i>LA Times<\/i> opinion piece<\/a> over the weekend, the hateful disaster that has become the once-legitimate, now insane-beyond-repair conservative movement in this nation. The item is headlined &#8220;From neocons to crazy-cons&#8221; and is aptly sub-titled: &#8220;Once the conservative movement was about finding meaning in private life and public service. But it has undergone a shift toward demagoguery and hucksterism.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a few more grafs worth reading. Breitbart might be heart-broken, if he had one. Buckley\" href=\"\/topic\/economy-business-finance\/media\/william-f.-buckley-PECLB004350.topic\">William F. Buckley<\/a> Jr., Irving Kristol and Father <a class=\"taxInlineTagLink\" id=\"PERLL000173\" title=\"Richard John Neuhaus\" href=\"\/topic\/religion-belief\/richard-john-neuhaus-PERLL000173.topic\">Richard John Neuhaus<\/a>, all dead now. Today, far more representative is potty-mouthed Internet entrepreneur Andrew Breitbart, whose news and opinion website, <i>Breitbart.com<\/i>, is read by millions. In his most recent triumph, Breitbart got a U.S. Department of Agriculture official pushed out of her job after he released a deceptively edited video clip of her supposedly endorsing racism against white people.<\/p>\n<p>What has become of conservatism?<br \/>\n&#8230;<br \/>\nWith its descent to baiting blacks, Mexicans and Muslims, its accommodation of conspiracy theories and an increasing nastiness and vulgarity, the conservative movement has undergone a shift toward demagoguery and hucksterism.
