Just&#8230;really&#8230;Wow.<\/p>\n<p>Fox &#8220;News&#8221; analyst and former NJ Superior Court Judge <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Andrew_Napolitano\">Andrew Napolitano<\/a> was featured on a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.booktv.org\/Program\/11711\/After+Words+Andrew+Napolitano+Lies+the+Government+Told+You+interviewed+by+Ralph+Nader.aspx\">segment of C-Span&#8217;s <i>BookTV<\/i><\/a> over the weekend, to discuss his book, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1595552669?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=tbb-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;creativeASIN=1595552669\"><i>Lies the Government Told You: Myth, Power, and Deception in American History<\/a><\/i><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=tbb-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=1595552669\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" style=\"border:none !important; margin:0px !important;\" \/>.<\/p>\n<p>While being interviewed by Ralph Nader, Napolitano says what Bush and Cheney did while in office was &#8220;blatantly unconstitutional, and in some cases criminal.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>When asked by Nader what the consequences should be, the judge says, in no uncertain terms: &#8220;They should have been indicted! They absolutely should have been indicted! For torturing, for spying, for arresting without warrant.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Wow. Guess his contract on Fox must be up. If it wasn&#8217;t, we suspect it is now. The text transcript and video &#8212; with Napolitano explaining that the &#8220;evidence&#8230;is overwhelming&#8221; that Bush and Cheney &#8220;participated in criminal conspiracies to violate the federal law and the guaranteed civil liberties of <i>hundreds<\/i>, maybe <i>thousands<\/i> of human beings &#8212; follows below. Take a look&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div class=\"media\"><b>NAPOLITANO:<\/b> So, <b>what President Bush did<\/b>, with the suspension of <i>habeas corpus<\/i>, with the whole concept of Guantanamo Bay, with the whole idea that he could avoid and evade federal law, treaties federal judges and the Constitution, <b>was <i>blatantly<\/i> unconstitutional, and in some cases criminal.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>NADER:<\/b> What&#8217;s the sanction for President Bush and Vice President Cheney?<\/p>\n<p><b>NAPOLITANO:<\/b> There has been no sanction, except what history will say about them.<\/p>\n<p><b>NADER:<\/b> What <i>should<\/i> be the sanction?<\/p>\n<p><b>NAPOLITANO:<\/b> <b>They should have been indicted! They absolutely should have been indicted! For torturing, for spying, for arresting without warrant.<\/b>  I&#8217;d like to say they should be indicted for lying. But, believe it or not, unless you&#8217;re under oath, lying is not a crime &#8212; at least not an indictable crime. It&#8217;s a moral crime.<\/p>\n<p><b>NADER:<\/b> So you think George W. Bush and Dick Cheney should &#8212; even though they&#8217;ve left office, they haven&#8217;t escaped criminal laws &#8212; they should be indicted and prosecuted?<\/p>\n<p><b>NAPOLITANO:<\/b><b> The evidence in this book, and in others<\/b> &#8212; our colleague, the great Vincent Bugliosi has, amassed an incredible amount of evidence, the purpose of this book was not to amass that evidence, but I do discuss it  &#8212; uh,<b> is <i>overwhelming<\/i>, when you compare it to the level of evidence required for a normal indictment, that George W.
