With the world losing the battle against global warming so far, experts are warning that humans need to follow nature’s example: Adapt or die.<\/p>\n

That means elevating buildings, making taller and stronger dams and seawalls, rerouting water systems, restricting certain developments, changing farming practices and ultimately moving people, plants and animals out of harm’s way.<\/p><\/div>\n

The story goes on to list a few of the efforts from governments around the world taking measures to deal with climate change issues already affecting the citizenry, such as:<\/p>\n

In Thailand, there are large-scale efforts to protect places from rising sea levels. Monks at one temple outside Bangkok had to raise the floor by more than 3 feet.<\/div>\n

Other than that, all is well and global warming has finally been exposed as a “hoax” — cuz, gosh darn it, those emails say something or other that proves it conclusively! Also, ACORN commits voter fraud, and Iraq had WMD. Oh, and Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck and Andy Breitbart<\/a> and Matt Drudge<\/a> also asked me to mention: “There’s nothing to see here, and these aren’t the droids you’re looking for.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
