My favorite exchange there so far this morning begins with commenter &#8220;Zounds&#8221; objecting to my points with: &#8220;Active discourse also requires a wider range of intellectual influences than all the American news channels offer.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>To which &#8220;jcpenny&#8221;, apparently an American, replied: &#8220;I&#8217;ve never seen British Tellie to provide the variety the American Tellie does.
