This time the California Secretary of State&#8217;s office has announced that they have <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sacbee.com\/static\/weblogs\/capitolalertlatest\/020851.html\">settled their lawsuit<\/a> against ES&#038;S.  It was back in 2007 that the <a href=\"https:\/\/bradblog.com\/?p=4985\">state discovered<\/a> that ES&#038;S had ignored state laws and sold uncertified voting machines to some counties as if they were certified. CA <a href=\"https:\/\/bradblog.com\/?p=5324\">filed a $15 million lawsuit<\/a> against the company, and now ES&#038;S has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sfgate.com\/cgi-bin\/article.cgi?f=\/n\/a\/2009\/03\/19\/state\/n120911D35.DTL&#038;type=business\">agreed to provide $3.2 M<\/a> to the state&#8217;s coffers by way of settling the suit.<\/p>\n<p>Will it make any difference in the long run? Probably not.
