We thought we&#8217;d take a look back at the bill, how it was born, and how it grew, and grew, and grew&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Trouble is, the &#8220;we&#8221; Scott mentions wasn&#8217;t Fox. It was the Senate Republican Communications Center (SRCC), and the resultant &#8220;news&#8221; analysis, was virtually an exact repetition of a news release the SRCC issued earlier today.<br \/>\n<object width=\"220\" height=\"230\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/mediamatters.org\/static\/flash\/mmfaplayer.swf\"><\/param><param name=\"flashvars\" value=\"config=http:\/\/mediamatters.org\/tools\/flash\/config?id=466056\"><\/param><embed src=\"http:\/\/mediamatters.org\/static\/flash\/mmfaplayer.swf\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" flashvars=\"config=http:\/\/mediamatters.org\/tools\/flash\/config?id=466056\" width=\"220\" height=\"230\" vspace=\"3\" hspace=\"8\" align=\"right\"><\/embed><\/object>In addition to turning the exact quotes from the press releases into graphics, Fox even replicated a typo from one of them, on the final graphic, as referring to a <i>Wall Street Journal<\/i> report from &#8220;12\/9\/09.&#8221; (That&#8217;s almost a year <i>from<\/i> now, for those not paying too close attention.)<\/p>\n<p>Video of the Fox &#8220;News&#8221; &#8220;report&#8221; is at right, and you may compare it to the SRCC&#8217;s press release &#8212; including the typo &#8212; <a href=\"http:\/\/republican.senate.gov\/public\/index.cfm?FuseAction=blogs.view&#038;blog_id=d0191280-8be3-4e74-8d22-2015ef4d977e\">here<\/a>.
