The accessibility report says, “Although each of the tested voting systems included some accessibility accommodations, none met the accessibility requirements of current law and none performed satisfactorily in test voting by persons with a range of disabilities and alternate language needs.” In other words if a jurisdiction uses any of the three machines tested for accessibility they are violating federal law (HAVA).

All of those stories, and more, linked below…

NAtional: Percentage-based versus SAFE Vote Tabulation Auditing: A Graphic Comparison LINK

NAtional: Agreement Reached to Move Holt Election Reform Bill LINK

NAtional: Video: NOW Exposes Republican Conspiracy To Steal 2004 Presidential Election LINK

CA: CA Releases Results of Red-Team Investigation of Voting Machines: All Three Systems Could Be Compromised LINK

CA: California report slams e-voting system security LINK

CA: Scientists’ Tests Hack Into Electronic Voting Machines in California and Elsewhere LINK

CA: California report slams e-voting system security
Every tested machine had problems… yes, every single one LINK

CA: Findings Released in California’s Top-to-Bottom Voting System Review LINK

CA: E-voting vulnerable to fraud LINK

CA: 3 voting systems faulted LINK

CA: State rushes electronic voting study LINK

CA: State Vote Machines Lose Test To Hackers LINK

CA: Kern County – Voting machines’ fate up in the air LINK

CA: San Diego County – Review shows S.D. voting machines can be breached LINK

FL: FL-13 – District 13 debate to look into secret coding LINK

IN: Rokita gets $363,000 over faulty voting machines LINK

NH: California study reinforces need in the Granite State to rid ourselves of secret vote counting technology LINK

PA: Lancaster County – Congress may say ‘no’ to e-Slate voting LINK

TN: Davidson County – Computer glitch affecting early voting in Belle Meade LINK

WA: Pierce County whacks polls
Low turnout forces closure of 40 percent of voting places, auditor says LINK

**”Daily Voting News” is meant as a comprehensive listing of reports each day concerning issues related to election and voting news around the country regardless of quality or political slant.
