In those incidents, voters were forced to press the screen harder and repeatedly to register a vote. The complaints mirror the symptoms of a bug that the machine’s maker, Election Systems & Software, revealed prior to the election in a warning unheeded by the county.

As ever, links to that story, and today’s other notable voting news, all below…

NAtional: Teepen: GOP cries of voter fraud are a shameless lie LINK

NAtional: Voting Machines Vulnerable to “Serious” Vote-Flipping Attack LINK

NAtional: Statement by EAC Commissioner Hillman Regarding Release of Voter Fraud Consultant Report LINK

CA: Riverside County ““ Columnist – No time to be ‘Blaise’ about voting LINK

CA: San Diego County – Cuyahoga County Ohio elections official Michael Vu Just Hired on in San Diego, California (& Comparing voter fraud with election fraud) LINK

FL: Senate ties early primary to voting machines with paper trails LINK

FL: FL-13 – House to begin probe into Fla. election LINK

FL: FL-13 – Florida-13 task force to hold first meeting today LINK

FL: FL-13 – Task Force Briefed on Contested Florida 13 House Race LINK

FL: Sarasota County – Docs Point to E-Voting Bug in Contested Race LINK

FL: Sarasota County – Docs from Florida Election Describe Problems with Machines LINK

OH: Cuyahoga County – Bye bye to Cleveland GOP Election Chair Bob “Ballots for Bush” Bennett LINK

France – Protesters sue to stop use of French e-voting machines LINK

Netherlands – Dutch government vows revamp of computer voting machine policy after critical report LINK

**”Daily Voting News” is meant as a comprehensive listing of reports each day concerning issues related to election and voting news around the country regardless of quality or political slant.
