Coulter&#8217;s potty-mouth once again scandalized the conference, upstaging presidential candidates and political leaders alike. Coulter&#8217;s rabid rhetoric took many by surprise as she said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I was going to have a few comments on the other Democratic presidential candidate, John Edwards, but it turns out that you have to go into rehab if you use the word &#8216;faggot,&#8217; so [gasps, laughter, applause] so I&#8217;m kind of at an impasse, can&#8217;t really talk about Edwards.&#8221;\u009d<br \/>\n&#8220;\u201c <a href=\"http:\/\/thinkprogress.org\/2007\/03\/02\/coulter-edwards\/\">Ann Coulter, CPAC, 3\/2\/07<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Every year, Coulter&#8217;s vicious words overshadow the theme and tone of CPAC, but this time Coulter personally felt the heat for her venomous folly. At least eight newspapers have <a href=\"http:\/\/mediamatters.org\/items\/200703120009\">dropped Coulter&#8217;s syndicated column<\/a>, her website has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gopusa.com\/news\/2007\/march\/0307_coulter_ads.shtml\">lost advertising revenue<\/a>, and at last count 43 conservative bloggers have written an <a href=\"hhttps:\/\/bradblog.com\/?p=4224\">open letter<\/a> protesting the keynote speech<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To prevent her career from totally bottoming out, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.showbuzz.cbsnews.com\/stories\/2007\/03\/12\/books\/main2561446.shtml\">the October release of Coulter&#8217;s sixth book<\/a> was promptly announced. Will her efforts at damage control, sans apology, actually work? Cynicism suggests, yes. &#8230;<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>King David poignantly asked, &#8220;Why do the wicked prosper?&#8221;\u009d The psalmist concluded that their present pleasures are fleeting and that the wicked will have their eternal punishment.<\/p>\n<p>Did I say &#8220;wicked?&#8221;\u009d Assuredly so.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"pullquote pqLeft\"><!--According to her own peculiar moral compass, using the F-word must be the best approach to \"reclaim\" America for Christ.  Somehow, I can't envision Jesus saying that word.--><\/span>Consider the willful evil originating in Ann Coulter&#8217;s heart and <a href=\"https:\/\/bradblog.com\/index.php?p=2368\">expressed in her words and behavior<\/a>. Coulter&#8217;s words are carefully-crafted to inflict the greatest harm and achieve the deepest response.  As Jesus so perceptively said, &#8220;For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.&#8221;\u009d Out of Coulter&#8217;s mouth comes abusive language, character assassination and elimination rhetoric &#8220;\u201c yes, death threats! <\/p>\n<p>Not content to sully a cr\u00e8me-de-la-cr\u00e8me conference comprised of genuine conservatives and grassroots activists, the very next day Coulter besmirched Christians and even Jesus Christ Himself by repeating her juvenile &#8220;joke&#8221;\u009d at a Reclaiming America for Christ Conference in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I spoke at CPAC yesterday &#8220;\u00a6 and I said I was going to also have a few remarks about the other Democratic presidential candidate, John Edwards, but apparently you have to go to rehab if you use the word &#8216;faggot.'&#8221;\u009d<br \/>\n&#8220;\u201c <a href=\"http:\/\/www.au.org\/site\/News2?JServSessionIdr002=k8knmn44f2.app13a&#038;abbr=pr&#038;page=NewsArticle&#038;id=8959&#038;security=1002&#038;news_iv_ctrl=1241\">Ann Coulter, <em>Reclaiming America for Christ Conference<\/em>, 3\/3\/07<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Coulter&#8217;s values clearly differ from those sponsoring this event.  According to her own peculiar moral compass, using the F-word must be the best approach to &#8220;reclaim&#8221;\u009d America for Christ.  Somehow, I can&#8217;t envision Jesus saying that word.<\/p>\n<p>But Coulter even surpassed herself, practically advocating the assassination of abortionists:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Those few abortionists were shot, or, depending on your point of view, had a procedure with a rifle performed on them. I&#8217;m not justifying it, but I do understand how it happened.&#8221;\u009d<br \/>\n&#8220;\u201c <a href=\"http:\/\/www.au.org\/site\/News2?JServSessionIdr002=k8knmn44f2.app13a&#038;abbr=pr&#038;page=NewsArticle&#038;id=8959&#038;security=1002&#038;news_iv_ctrl=1241\">Ann Coulter, <em>Reclaiming America for Christ Conference<\/em>, 3\/3\/07<\/a><br \/>\n(<em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rawstory.com\/news\/2007\/Coulter_Faggot_not_offensive_to_gay_0306.html\">Video\/Transcript at RAW STORY<\/a><\/em>)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>These conference organizers were not amused. Their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reclaimamerica.org\/Pages\/News\/news.aspx?story=3185\">conference summary <\/a>omitted any mention of Coulter and their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.actsonline.biz\/cr0107_59_ctg.htm\">series of conference tapes<\/a> excludes her entire session, which was to be the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reclaimamerica.org\/download\/RACSchedule2007.pdf\">capstone and climax<\/a> of the conference. (See also <a href=\"http:\/\/www.au.org\/site\/DocServer\/Cass__3.7.07_pdf.pdf?docID=1442\">a letter<\/a> from Americans United for the Separation of Church and State.)<\/p>\n<p>Two nights later, an <em>unrepentant <\/em>Coulter <em>defied<\/em> her detractors to destroy her career!<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I mean, this is the same thing we go through every six months. I say something, the same people become hysterical, and that&#8217;s the end of it. &#8220;\u00a6 This is about my 17th allegedly career-ending moment. &#8220;\u00a6 That&#8217;s what has happened every other time for about a decade now.&#8221;\u009d<br \/>\n&#8220;\u201c <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/story\/0,2933,256949,00.html\">Ann Coulter, <em>Hannity &#038; Colmes<\/em>, 3\/5\/07<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Consider this important question: Has Coulter <em>ever <\/em>apologized for <em>anything<\/em>? Most Christians understand that repentance is a <em>crucial <\/em>aspect of the Christian life, a core Christian behavior. Repentance is, in fact, the entryway into the Christian life. But other <a href=\"https:\/\/bradblog.com\/?p=1940\">core Christian concepts<\/a>, such as truth and love, are just as foreign to Coulter as repentance.<\/p>\n<p>Ironically, at the behest of CPAC Director Lisa De Pasquale (one of Coulter&#8217;s publicists), CPAC Chief of Security Floyd Resnick (also Coulter&#8217;s personal bodyguard) spearheaded a group of people who <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lydiacornell.com\/2007\/03\/ann-coulters-criminal-intent.html\">forcibly expelled me from CPAC<\/a> just hours before Coulter&#8217;s offensive remarks. Why? Because of my previous criticism of their beloved polemicist.
