He didn’t ask the 9\/11 families if they liked the idea, and I guess he didn’t bother to ask the Iraqi soccer team either, according to this piece<\/a> from Sports Illustrated<\/i>. It turns out, they don’t like it any more than the 9\/11 Families did:<\/p>\n Ahmed Manajid, who played as a midfielder on Wednesday, had an even stronger response when asked about Bush’s TV advertisement. “How will he meet his god having slaughtered so many men and women?” Manajid told me. “He has committed so many crimes.”<\/p>\n …<\/p>\n “My problems are not with the American people,” says Iraqi soccer coach Adnan Hamad. “They are with what America has done in Iraq: destroy everything.
