And now he&#8217;s doing it again, using the Iraq soccer team in his latest campaign spots, and in his latest stump speeches.<\/p>\n<p>He didn&#8217;t ask the 9\/11 families if they liked the idea, and I guess he didn&#8217;t bother to ask the Iraqi soccer team either, according to <a href=\"http:\/\/si.printthis.clickability.com\/pt\/cpt?action=cpt&#038;title=SI.com+-+Writers+-+Wahl%3A+Iraqi+soccer+players+upset+about+Bush+campaign+ads+using+team+-+Thursday+August+19%2C+2004+1%3A24PM&#038;expire=-1&#038;urlID=11378495&#038;fb=Y&#038;url=http%3A%2F%2Fsportsillustrated.cnn.com%2F2004%2Folympics%2F2004%2Fwriters%2F08%2F19%2Firaq%2Findex.html%3Fcnn%3Dyes&#038;partnerID=2356\" target=\"_blank\">this piece<\/a> from <i>Sports Illustrated<\/i>. It turns out, they don&#8217;t like it any more than the 9\/11 Families did:<\/p>\n<div class=\"media\">&#8220;Iraq as a team does not want Mr. Bush to use us for the presidential campaign,&#8221; [Iraqi midfielder Salih] Sadir told SI.com through a translator, speaking calmly and directly. &#8220;He can find another way to advertise himself.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Ahmed Manajid, who played as a midfielder on Wednesday, had an even stronger response when asked about Bush&#8217;s TV advertisement. &#8220;How will he meet his god having slaughtered so many men and women?&#8221; Manajid told me. &#8220;He has committed so many crimes.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My problems are not with the American people,&#8221; says Iraqi soccer coach Adnan Hamad. &#8220;They are with what America has done in Iraq: destroy everything.
