Curtis had 12,652 votes, compared to 7,990 for Michaud: That&#8217;s 61% for the vote-rigging whistleblower, with 208 out of 257 precincts reporting, or or 81%.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to other reliable sources, a reporter from the <i>Daytona Beach News-Journal<\/i> called Clint and asked whether he wanted to make a statement. Clint said: <\/p>\n<div class=\"media\">It&#8217;s looking good and we are glad to see it, but I don&#8217;t want to make my statement yet. <\/p>\n<p>I see no reason to declare victory until every vote in Florida&#8217;s 24th is counted. The voters deserve that much.<\/p>\n<p>I hadn&#8217;t planned to either concede or declare victory tonight. We&#8217;ve campaigned for six months. We can wait another 6 hours or 6 days if we have to. Each vote is <em>that precious<\/em>.<\/div>\n<p>So &#8230; shall we let the party begin? Well, really: there&#8217;s no hurry! <\/p>\n<p>If Clint can wait until all the votes are counted, then so can we!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/enight.dos.state.fl.us\/\">Here&#8217;s the main page<\/a>  for vote-count reporting page from Florida.<\/p>\n<p>And <a href=\"http:\/\/enight.dos.state.fl.us\/2006PRI\/20060905_DEM_DET_USR_024.html\">here&#8217;s the page<\/a> where the Curtis\/Michaud totals are posted.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier tonight I mentioned that I wouldn&#8217;t be disappointed if 6 or 7 green-and-yellow bloggers grabbed screen captures of <a href=\"http:\/\/enight.dos.state.fl.us\/2006PRI\/20060905_DEM_DET_USR_024.html\">this page<\/a> every so often, as the night went on&#8230; and we&#8217;ve been trying to keep up &#8230; but the Florida website isn&#8217;t doing much &#8230; and the TV station seems to have more recent numbers than the website does &#8230; but we&#8217;ll keep watching the website as well.<\/p>\n<p>Brad is out of computer range but he&#8217;s following along on his cell phone. He told me to give everyone his regards. I told him to take good care of himself and especially of Desi. And that last bit can be from all of us&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>As I mentioned, the State of Florida election returns webpage hasn&#8217;t been updated lately but we are keeping an eye on it in any case
