Meanwhile early voting is supposed be begin next Tuesday for run-off elections on June 13. Needless to say some counties in the state will not be ready for early voting. A good example of how the inept work of ES&S affects more than just one election. Also in Arkansas the SoS has announced that they have hired InfoSentry to analyze the work done by ES&S. Boyd County Kentucky announced that a recanvass found no major changes in elections results. They also announced that the machines from one complete precinct were never counted in the original count. And, members of the NASED Voting Systems Board admit in emails that NASED certifies voting systems even with the knowledge that they must be modified in order to be used and, therefore, are no longer certified….

NAtional: Train Wreck – NASED Certifies Voting Systems They Know Must Be Modified And No Longer Be Certified LINK

AR: Train Wreck – Voting mishaps to trigger review LINK

AR: Train Wreck – Votes still out in two counties, early voting in some counties could be delayed LINK

AR: Phillips County Train Wreck – Phillips County’s election woes continue LINK

AR: Pulaski County Train Wreck – County To Use Paper Ballots In Runoff LINK

KY: Boyd County Train Wreck – Recanvass brings no major changes LINK

AR: Despite long night, electronic voting was a success LINK

CA: San Francisco County – Internet Ad Seeking Temp Workers to Transport Hackable Election Machines Taken Down LINK

CA: Ventura County – Voting machines better but still have faults LINK

FL: Broward County – Glitch Leaves Some Broward Residents With Wrong Voting ID Card LINK

FL: Pinellas County – County’s vote counts are called correct LINK

GA: Voting Rights Activists Call for Secretary of State Cox to Step Down LINK

IA: Johnson County – County previews electronic, disabled-friendly voting machines LINK

KY: Election vote totals found correct LINK

PA: Fayette County – Zimmerlink vows voting improvments LINK

PA: Lancaster County – Voting machines: too early to tell here if tweaking is needed LINK

PA: Lehigh County Opinion – Don’t trust computer voting machines, verify ballots LINK

WA: Advocates File Voting Rights Lawsuit in Washington Challenging Database “Matching” Requirements LINK

**”Daily Voting News” is meant as a comprehensive listing of reports each day concerning issues related to election and voting news around the country regardless of quality or political slant.
