According to<\/a> TVNewser, CNN plans to continue their “Liberal” ways by featuring 3 “Conservative” analysts\/Bushies and just one countering voice.<\/p>\n

According to the weblog TVNewser, CNN’s January 31 coverage of President Bush’s State of the Union address will feature three conservative commentators but only one progessive commentator. The January 31 TVNewser post<\/a>, which detailed the State of the Union “coverage plans” for the major cable and broadcast news networks, indicated that CNN will feature former Reagan administration Secretary of Education Bill Bennett<\/a>, former Bush administration official Victoria Clarke<\/a>, and former Rep. J.C. Watts<\/a> (R-OK). Democratic strategist Paul Begala is the only progressive commentator scheduled to appear on CNN, according to TVNewser.<\/div>\n

CNN has recently come under criticism for their continued lurch to the far right as they’ve hired both Bennett and Watts as a “analysts”, and contracted with Right Wingnut\/Radio Personality Glenn Beck to provide him with his own primetime show<\/a> on the formerly-reputable-ish CNN Headline News channel.<\/p>\n
