After preliminary results indicated that Shia-based religious parties will dominate the Iraqi parliament, Sunni&#8217;s and other secular parties began massive protests demanding a re-vote.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier today, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2005\/12\/28\/international\/middleeast\/28cnd-iraq.html\" target=\"_blank\">U.N. declared<\/a> that the Iraqi election was &#8220;transparent and credible&#8221; and saw no reason for another vote.
