{"id":2119,"date":"2005-12-04T19:30:05","date_gmt":"2005-12-04T23:30:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.test.bradblog.com\/?p=2119"},"modified":"2005-12-04T19:30:05","modified_gmt":"2005-12-04T23:30:05","slug":"cannonfire-evidence-of-dod-false-fronts-converting-irs-collected-revenue-into-gop-paydirt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bradblog.com\/?p=2119","title":{"rendered":"CANNONFIRE: Evidence of DoD &#8216;False Fronts&#8217; Converting IRS-Collected Revenue into GOP Paydirt!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Joseph Cannon has been digging deep and looking under the slimy rock of the Duke Cunningham bribery scandal to take a closer look at the MZM and Wilkes Corp firms and seems to be finding what appears to be millions of tax-payer dollars funnelled through fake &#8220;Defense Contractors&#8221; (who actually appear to do nothing) and then straight into the pockets and campaigns of scores of Republican politicians.<\/p>\n<p>This seems to be the sort of thing actual <i>journalists<\/i> used to report, the U.S. Congress used to investigate and the Justice Department used to prosecute. Thank God that bloggers like Joe get the big big bucks for doing <i>all<\/i> of that (save the prosecute part) even while they have a day job!<\/p>\n<p>So is Cannon onto something big here? I&#8217;m busy digging into a few things of my own, but it seems to me that his work deserves <a href=\"http:\/\/cannonfire.blogspot.com\/2005\/12\/deeper-into-wilkesmzm-scandals-updated.html\">a much closer look&#8230;<\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>UPDATE:<\/b> (Upon further reflection on Joe&#8217;s work, it seems to me that if he&#8217;s got this right, this could be the mother of all historic scams in this country&#8230;For that reason, my natural inclination says that this can&#8217;t be. The implications here would be so enormous, my initial reaction is that he <i>must<\/i> have something wrong here.
