Bob Ney (R-OH) for Docs in Abramoff Case"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/bradblog.com\/Images\/BobNeyBW.jpg\" hspace=\"6\" vspace=\"3\" border=\"0\" align=\"right\"><i>The Hill<\/i> has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hillnews.com\/thehill\/export\/TheHill\/News\/Frontpage\/110305\/ney.html\">today&#8217;s story<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/bradblog.com\/archives\/00001930.htm\">The BRAD BLOG reported<\/a> on Ney up to his eyeballs in the Abramoff investigation recently, and last May when <a href=\"https:\/\/bradblog.com\/archives\/00001384.htm\">it was reported<\/a> that he was under investigation by the DoJ.<\/p>\n<p>But we found the following phrase, in today&#8217;s report, had a somewhat familiar ring to it&#8230;<\/p>\n<div class=\"media\">Ney said he could not comment on the specifics of the DOJ investigation.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I believe\u2026that although the government&#8217;s investigation of Mr. Abramoff has been well-publicized through other sources, it is inappropriate for my office to comment in any detail about an ongoing investigation,&#8221; he said.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&#8230;Hmmm&#8230; Now where have we heard that same phrase recently?
