<\/a>According to a BBC press release<\/a>, George W. Bush told Palestinian ministers that God instructed him to go to war with Afghanistan and Iraq:<\/p>\n

Abu Mazen was at the same meeting and recounts how President Bush told him: “I have a moral and religious obligation. So I will get you a Palestinian state.”<\/p><\/div>\n

UPDATE: The White House and Scottie McLellan are categorically denying Bush ever claimed such a thing. Meanwhile the Palestinian ministers insist they heard him say it.<\/p>\n
