<\/a>AFP reports<\/a> on the latest NEWSWEEK<\/i> poll on the most-vacationed-“President”-ever, George W. Bush’s handling of Iraq (where 1,833 U.S. Troops have died since this debacle began, at least 38 of whom have been killed in just the last 10 days!):<\/p>\n

The survey by Newsweek<\/i> magazine indicated only 34 per cent of Americans approved of the way Mr Bush was handling the situation in Iraq<\/b>, while 61 percent expressed their disapproval.<\/p>\n

The findings, release on Saturday, represented the President’s lowest rating on Iraq ever, which thus far has hovered above the 40 per cent mark.

\nAt least 38 US military personnel have died in Iraq in the last 10 days in one of the deadliest outbreaks of insurgent violence since the March 2003 US-led invasion of the country. <\/p>\n

\nJust 26 percent<\/b> of those polled now said they supported keeping large numbers of US military personnel in Iraq for as long as it takes to achieve US goals. <\/p>\n

38 percent<\/b> argued they would support keeping troops there less than a year while 13 percent<\/b> were willing to maintain that commitment for up to two years, according to the survey.<\/div>\n
