[<i>Audio link to full, delicious show follows this post.<\/i>]\n<p>On today&#8217;s menu&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><i>APPETIZER:<\/i> <b>Tucker Carlson<\/b> hilariously <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/MollyJongFast\/status\/1935149664723927269\">destroys<\/a> <b>Ted Cruz<\/b> over <b>Donald Trump<\/b>&#8216;s apparent threats, plans, ponderings, whims, to fully join <b>Israel<\/b>&#8216;s military attack on <b>Iran<\/b>. Aside from threatening to entangle the U.S. in another much larger &#8220;forever war&#8221; in the Middle East, which some of <b>MAGA<\/b> (Tucker, for instance) now pretend to oppose, the erupting civil war on the Trump right is now pitting folks like Carlson and Steve Bannon against Sean Hannity, Fox &#8216;News&#8217;, Lindsey Graham, etc. And it&#8217;s all delicious! But it also offers yet another opportunity for us to help expose the <a href=\"https:\/\/responsiblestatecraft.org\/2021\/01\/20\/trump-the-anti-war-president-was-always-a-myth\/#\">myth<\/a> &#8212; the blatant, opportunistic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thenation.com\/article\/politics\/trump-anti-war-charade\/\"><i>lie<\/i><\/a> &#8212; that Trump was <i>ever<\/i> an &#8220;anti-war&#8221; candidate or President in the first place.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><i>MAIN COURSE:<\/i> This one does <i>not<\/i> go down easily. But it does expose yet another series of longtime Republican lies. The corrupted, activist, Republican <b>U.S. Supreme Court<\/b> majority today <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/supreme-court-transgender-health-care-trump-79fc6f3bbdab2e92d6f0184201a468a9\">upheld<\/a> <b>Tennessee<\/b>&#8216;s ban on medically prescribed gender-affirming care for trans minors. Aside from being unspeakably cruel, <a href=\"https:\/\/slate.com\/news-and-politics\/2025\/06\/skrmetti-john-roberts-anti-trans-supreme-court.html\">incoherent<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lawdork.com\/p\/breaking-scotus-upholds-tennessees\">Constitutionally flawed<\/a>, the 6 to 3 opinion underscores at least three more longtime GOP lies: Republicans do <i>not<\/i> oppose Big Government coming between doctor and patient, as they pretended to argue, for example, during the original ObamaCare debates in 2010; Donald Trump (who appointed three of the majority Justices and argued in favor of the ban, which will now block health care for children in 26 other GOP-controlled states) was never &#8220;the most pro-LGBT Pres candidate ever nominated by either party,&#8221; as some supporters <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ChrisRBarron\/status\/793070427442667521?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E793070427442667521%7Ctwgr%5E541a9fef951989530170ce503f34b4d5a7fe61b7%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&#038;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fqz.com%2Fembed%2Finset%2Fiframe%3Fid%3Dtwitt\">falsely claimed<\/a> back in 2016; And Republicans do <i>not<\/i> give a damn about &#8220;parental rights&#8221;, as they first began arguing mostly loudly circa 2021. As the brilliant <a href=\"https:\/\/ProLeftPod.com\">&#8220;Driftlgass&#8221;<\/a> likes to say: No fair remembering stuff!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><i>SIDE DISH:<\/i> More on the legislative details on this hopefully tomorrow, but <b>Donald Trump<\/b> and <b>Congressional Republicans&#8217;<\/b> so-called &#8220;Big Beautiful&#8221; budget bill &#8212; currently moving through the Senate after passage by one vote in the House &#8212; appears to be an absolute <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ForecasterEnten\/status\/1934982418131292255\">political disaster<\/a> for them, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thebulwark.com\/p\/do-republicans-realize-whose-health-care-theyre-cutting-big-beautiful-bill-medicare-medicaid-congress-trump#_\">whole bunch of recent polling<\/a>. Turns out Americans do not like more than a trillion dollars worth of cuts to their health care and food nutrition assistance programs, robbing health care entirely from millions in the bargain. They don&#8217;t like killing Joe Biden&#8217;s landmark, renewable energy incentives for families and businesses alike. And they <i>really<\/i> don&#8217;t like increasing the national debt by about $3 trillion in order to help pay for about $4 trillion in tax cuts that go mostly to the wealthy and large corporations. All of it is apparently so unpopular that Hawaii&#8217;s Democratic Gov. <b>Brian Schatz<\/b> <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SenBrianSchatz\/status\/1935133651404292274\">believes<\/a> that the Left &#8212; if they can stick together &#8212; may find the momentum to actually kill the bill. (I remain dubious, if hopeful!)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>JUST DESSERTS:<\/em> Finally, Desi Doyen joins us for <a href=\"https:\/\/bradblog.com\/?p=15418\">our latest <i>Green News Report<\/i><\/a>, one day later than originally prepared, as we ran out of time for it yesterday.
