[<i>Audio link to full show follows this summary.<\/i>]\n<p>Among our stories today&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Kari Lake<\/b> loses yet again. This time, it&#8217;s the <b>Arizona<\/b> state Court of Appeals which has, again, <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/kari-lake-arizona-election-challenge-4cf679e59cc2a058dda2d5d2545b070b\">rejected her claims<\/a> that the 2022 gubernatorial election was stolen from her when she lost it by some 17,000 votes to Democrat <b>Katie Hobbs<\/b>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Unexplained <a href=\"https:\/\/www.postandcourier.com\/spartanburg\/politics\/spartanburg-county-fraudulent-voter-intimidation-text-message\/article_93627256-2814-11ef-80c9-07fad58cbfbf.html\">mass texts<\/a>, warning of voter intimidation, falsely suggesting they were sent by the Spartanburg County Elections Office during <b>South Carolina<\/b>&#8216;s down-ballot primaries last week, should serve as a warning for this November&#8217;s elections.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>U.S. officials from the <b>Office of the Director of National Intelligence<\/b> are <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/disinformation-election-interference-russia-china-2925ca62c1ba8c1893454ccb2f76785a\">reportedly<\/a> sending their own warnings, privately, to candidates in the U.S. who, they say, are being targeted with disinformation campaigns by foreign adversaries, including <b>Russia<\/b>, <b>China<\/b> and <b>Iran<\/b>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>And, in what should serve as yet another warning before November, a pro-Kremlin hacker group, said to be closely allied with <b>Russia<\/b>&#8216;s intelligence services, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.euronews.com\/my-europe\/2024\/06\/06\/pro-russia-group-claims-responsibility-for-cyber-attacks-on-first-day-of-eu-election\">reportedly<\/a> took down the websites of a number of political parties and other institutions on the first day of voting in <b>Europe<\/b>&#8216;s recent parliamentary elections.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>New York<\/b>&#8216;s highest court on Tuesday <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/donald-trump-hush-money-gag-order-juan-merchan-c6e8056bf7b82aaf0bbf094d703b5f31\">rejected<\/a> an appeal by <b>Donald Trump<\/b> to lift the gag order barring him from attacking witnesses, jurors and the family members of prosecutors or the judge in the hush money\/election interference case in which the disgraced former President was recently found guilty of 34 criminal felonies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>And, speaking of, the <b>Biden-Harris Campaign<\/b> is finally using Trump&#8217;s shameful court losses &#8212; for both felony crimes and civil liabilities &#8212; against him, in an aggressive <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2024\/06\/17\/biden-ad-trump-convicted-criminal-00163633\">television ad<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/talkingpointsmemo.com\/edblog\/ouch-4#more-1492543\">mass emails<\/a> to supporters taking him to task as a &#8220;convicted felon&#8221; as well as &#8220;a liar and a fraud&#8221;. Of course, even now, Team Biden will have to overcome ridiculous reporting on the effort by the <b><i>New York Times<\/i><\/b>, whose headline yesterday (until it was changed) read &#8220;Biden Campaign Ad Paints Trump as a Felon&#8221;. Um&#8230;.&#8221;<i>paints<\/i>&#8221; him as a felon?! He is a felon!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>After telling us for months that <b>President Biden<\/b> is so mentally debilitated that &#8220;he can&#8217;t string two sentences together,&#8221; <b>Donald Trump<\/b> supporters like <b>Sean Hannity<\/b> at Fox &#8220;News&#8221; are now <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/atrupar\/status\/1802874861842272715?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">working overtime<\/a> to try and <i>lower<\/i> expectations for him in advance of next week&#8217;s first Presidential debate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Maryland<\/b>&#8216;s Democratic Governor <b>Wes Moore<\/b> on Monday <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/marijuana-pardons-gov-wes-moore-003a11d2435eabaa060d2d26da63ce42\">pardoned<\/a> about 175,000 convictions related to marijuana and paraphernalia possession over the years. The long-overdue pardons, following the state&#8217;s full legalization of marijuana last year, will help tens of thousands of Black and Brown people who were disproportionately charged and convicted over the many decades of our failed, frequently racist &#8220;war on drugs&#8221;.
