But&#8230; [<i>Audio link to show follows below.<\/i>]\n<p>Among the stories covered on today&#8217;s show:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nebraska law <a href=\"https:\/\/thinkprogress.org\/keystone-pipeline-spill-5bd8b44296da\/?utm_source=newsletter&#038;utm_medium=email&#038;utm_campaign=tp-letters\">disallows<\/a> state officials from considering Thursday&#8217;s massive Keystone Pipeline <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/news\/energy-environment\/wp\/2017\/11\/16\/keystone-pipeline-spills-210000-gallons-of-oil-on-eve-of-key-permitting-decision\/\">tarsands oil spill<\/a> in South Dakota in their upcoming decision on permits to build the even larger and more dangerous KeystoneXL Pipeline expansion in Nebraska;<\/li>\n<li>Things are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/blogs\/plum-line\/wp\/2017\/11\/17\/this-remarkable-angry-exchange-between-senators-unmasks-the-gops-tax-cut-lies\/\">getting ugly<\/a> in the U.S. Senate Finance Committee as the GOP attempts to ram through massive, <a href=\"https:\/\/poll.qu.edu\/national\/release-detail?ReleaseID=2501\">unpopular<\/a> tax cuts <a href=\"http:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/news\/world\/americas\/us-politics\/gary-cohn-ceo-video-trump-tax-plan-hands-down-investment-question-a8057426.html\">for the rich<\/a> before the Thanksgiving break;<\/li>\n<li>Even Fox &#8220;News&#8221; now <a href=\"http:\/\/politi.co\/2jwJn2o\">finds<\/a> Alabama&#8217;s GOP U.S. Senate nominee Roy Moore to be in trouble with voters before the December 12 special election, following growing allegations of sexual assault on minors;<\/li>\n<li>The U.S. Senate Judiciary Chair <a href=\"http:\/\/politi.co\/2zK9wRk\">does away<\/a> with 100-year old &#8220;blue slip&#8221; tradition in order to ram through more of Trump&#8217;s lifetime appointments to the federal bench;<\/li>\n<li>Those appointees, a <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/a2c7a89828c747ed9439f60e4a89193e\">new analysis<\/a> finds, are almost exclusively white and male;<\/li>\n<li>They&#8217;re also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/news\/politics\/wp\/2017\/11\/10\/how-unusual-are-trumps-not-qualified-judicial-nominations\/\">&#8220;not qualified&#8221;<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/mobile.nytimes.com\/2017\/11\/13\/us\/politics\/trump-judge-brett-talley-nomination.html?smid=tw-nytpolitics&#038;smtyp=cur&#038;_r=0&#038;referer=https:\/\/t.co\/Nggb8Eanl6\">dishonest<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/shareblue.com\/republicans-just-unanimously-approved-a-kkk-sympathizer-for-a-lifetime-federal-judgeship\/\">racist<\/a>, as investigative journalists have recently discovered;<\/li>\n<li>So are Trump&#8217;s appointees to other areas of the federal government, more of whom were forced to <a href=\"http:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/administration\/360802-dhs-neighborhood-and-faith-outreach-chief-resigns-over-past-racial\">resign<\/a> in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2017\/11\/16\/politics\/kfile-jamie-johnson-dhs\/index.html\">disgrace<\/a> this week;<\/li>\n<li>In other &#8220;Filling the Swamp&#8221; news, Trump continues to spin the <a href=\"http:\/\/talkingpointsmemo.com\/dc\/breaking-trump-nominates-alex-azar-to-run-hhs\">revolving door<\/a> with Big Pharma exec nominated to head Health and Human Services (HHS), a Big Coal exec gets <a href=\"http:\/\/talkingpointsmemo.com\/news\/senate-narrowly-confirms-david-zatezalo-mine-safety\">rammed through<\/a> the Senate to head the office of Mining Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), but one <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/07be552e19a34b268c225960150a6875\/GOP-senators-from-NC-come-out-against-Trump-EPA-nominee\">wildly inappropriate<\/a> appointee to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) <i>may<\/i> actually get blocked&#8230;by Senate <i>Republicans<\/i>! What are the odds?
