[<i>Audio link to show posted below.<\/i>]\n<p>Among the many stories covered on today program:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First, some good news (before everything else goes to hell), a federal court <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/ed57b001f47c4c39b070d00652ba65d3\">blocks<\/a> Attorney General Jeff Sessions&#8217; attempt to withhold DoJ funding from so-called &#8220;sanctuary cities&#8221;;<\/li>\n<li>North Korea&#8217;s latest missile test bodes <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/9d5be2ad4dd44c6082a7982d17b84b2f\">ominously<\/a>, but there <i>is<\/i> a potential way to avoid war, if officials are smart enough to use it;<\/li>\n<li>Another terror <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/news\/world\/london-tube-incident-sends-commuters-fleeing-police-scene-n801531\">attack<\/a> in London today and, as Scotland Yard and Prime Minister Theresa May <a href=\"http:\/\/talkingpointsmemo.com\/livewire\/theresa-may-criticizes-trump\">described it<\/a>, Trump&#8217;s very <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/kaitlancollins\/status\/908667236361146368\">&#8220;unhelpful&#8221;<\/a> response to it;<\/li>\n<li>Speaking of terror, Donald Trump is very quick to <a href=\"http:\/\/talkingpointsmemo.com\/livewire\/trump-loser-terrorists-london-travel-ban\">comment<\/a> on alleged Muslim terror attacks, but both he (and the corporate media) are very good at ignoring and\/or downplaying domestic acts of terror by white people with guns, including a deadly high school <a href=\"http:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/US\/teen-killed-washington-state-school-shooting-talk-armed\/story?id=49869825\">shooting<\/a> this week in suburban Washington and one of the worst <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/EricBoehlert\/status\/907586843356618752\">mass murders<\/a> in a decade this week in suburban Texas.<\/li>\n<li>The growing <a href=\"http:\/\/grist.org\/briefly\/harvey-and-irma-take-a-huge-bite-out-of-the-u-s-economy\/\">cost<\/a> to the U.S. economy of Harvey, Irma and other increasingly intense storms (<a href=\"https:\/\/weather.com\/storms\/hurricane-central\/jose-2017\/AL122017\">another<\/a> may hit the U.S. in the coming week) &#8212; and the ever-increasing costs of ignoring climate change altogether;<\/li>\n<li>More on the massive <a href=\"https:\/\/bradblog.com\/?p=12295\">Equifax hack<\/a>;<\/li>\n<li>Hundreds of thousands of voter files left <a href=\"http:\/\/thehill.com\/policy\/cybersecurity\/350740-alaska-voter-information-spilled-by-marketer\">unprotected<\/a> online (again), this time in Alaska;<\/li>\n<li>The election office in Ohio largest county, with voted ballots inside, was discovered completely <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cleveland.com\/metro\/index.ssf\/2017\/09\/former_congressman_finds_cuyah.html\">unlocked<\/a> and vacant, just days before a municipal election;<\/li>\n<li>Both bad and good news out of the California state legislature, including the success of a Dem-supported bill (<a href=\"https:\/\/countedascast.org\/stopab840\/\">AB 840<\/a>) that will make election fraud easier to carry out by keeping nearly 40% of the state&#8217;s ballots from being subject to any post-election hand &#8220;audits&#8221; (if you&#8217;re in the state, feel free to <a href=\"https:\/\/govapps.gov.ca.gov\/gov39mail\/\">contact Gov.
