{"id":11624,"date":"2016-03-22T19:27:44","date_gmt":"2016-03-23T02:27:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bradblog.com\/?p=11624"},"modified":"2016-03-23T17:54:31","modified_gmt":"2016-03-24T00:54:31","slug":"which-one-is-the-fake-internet-voting-site-for-tonights-utah-gop-online-caucus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bradblog.com\/?p=11624","title":{"rendered":"Which One is the Fake Internet Voting Site for the Utah GOP&#8217;s &#8216;Online Caucus&#8217;?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I spoke earlier on <a href=\"https:\/\/bradblog.com\/?p=11623\">today&#8217;s <i>BradCast<\/i><\/a>, in some detail, about the idiocy of the Utah Republican Party deciding to use an <a href=\"https:\/\/bradblog.com\/?p=9126\">easily-hacked<\/a> Internet Voting scheme as part of their Presidential caucuses tonight, despite years of virtually every world-class computer science and security expert <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wired.com\/2016\/03\/security-experts-arent-going-like-utahs-online-primary\/\">warning against it<\/a> in no uncertain terms.<\/p>\n<p>But, just to underscore the idiocy of Utah GOP chairman James Evans&#8217; decision to blow tens of thousands of dollars on this horrible idea, here&#8217;s a screenshot of the portal where Republican voters in the state who signed up to participate in the &#8220;online caucus&#8221; are supposed to cast their vote&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"https:\/\/ivotingcenter.us\" target=\"_blank\"><b>https:\/\/ivotingcenter.us<\/b><\/a><br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/ivotingcenter.us\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/BradBlog.com\/Images\/UtahGOPInternetVotingOnlineCaucusPage_032216.jpg\"><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>And now here&#8217;s a completely <i>fake<\/i> version of that page, as created by some of the same white hat computer scientists who, years ago, hacked a D.C. Internet Voting scheme <a href=\"https:\/\/bradblog.com\/?p=8109\">within hours<\/a> (and found Iranian and Chinese <a href=\"https:\/\/bradblog.com\/?p=8118\">hackers inside<\/a> of it at the same time)&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"https:\/\/ivotingcenter.gop\" target=\"_blank\"><b>https:\/\/ivotingcenter.gop<\/b><\/a><br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/ivotingcenter.gop\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/BradBlog.com\/Images\/UtahGOPInternetVotingOnlineCaucusPage_032216_FAKE.jpg\"><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Can you tell the difference? Would a GOP voter in Utah? (And, if they did, would they notice the fake before or after they threw their &#8220;vote&#8221; away by casting it at a phony site?)
