Astute readers here will recall that I did make big fun of Ted Cruz&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/bradblog.com\/?p=11095\">gang-style teardrop<\/a> icon a few weeks ago, so <a href=\"http:\/\/www.adweek.com\/adfreak\/hillary-clintons-campaign-logo-bad-everyone-saying-164035\">turnabout is fair play&#8230;<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.adweek.com\/files\/imagecache\/node-blog\/blogs\/hillary-logo-hed-2015.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/www.adweek.com\/files\/imagecache\/node-blog\/blogs\/hillary-logo-hed-2015.jpg\" height=\"236\" width=\"420\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"media\">\nAlong with her campaign announcement on Sunday, Clinton showed off her  new logo&#8221;\u201da big blue H with a red arrow striking through it, pointing to  the right. Of course, the Internet freaked out and issued a torrent of  snark-laden reactions to the design.<\/p>\n<p>Critics commented on everything from the direction the arrow is  pointing to other logos it reminds them of (cough, FedEx, cough) and of  course made some other super-tangential-oddball associations.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>I agree with the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/guy_irl\/status\/587456991863386112\/photo\/1\">&#8216;hospital entrance sign&#8217;<\/a> comparison.&nbsp; On the other hand&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/assets.amuniversal.com\/72744e90c51d0132d950005056a9545d.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/assets.amuniversal.com\/72744e90c51d0132d950005056a9545d.jpg\" height=\"315\" width=\"450\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nAnd&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/editorialcartoonists.com\/cartoons\/BenneC\/2015\/BenneC20150415_low.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/editorialcartoonists.com\/cartoons\/BenneC\/2015\/BenneC20150415_low.jpg\" height=\"301\" width=\"450\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Anybody seen Rubio&#8217;s or Rand&#8217;s actual logos?&nbsp; Oh yeah, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/marco-rubios-campaign-logo-perplexes-design-experts-2015-4\">here<\/a> they <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/design-experts-review-rand-pauls-campaign-logos-2015-4\">are<\/a>.&nbsp; Paul stole his from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theverge.com\/tldr\/2015\/3\/3\/8145381\/rand-paul-tinder-so-hot-right-now\">Tinder<\/a>, and Rubio obviously let a young child draw his in order to save on expenses.  The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vox.com\/2015\/4\/14\/8411801\/rubio-s-odd-looking-campaign-logo-is-teaching-us-an-important-lesson\">actual logo<\/a>, not the one in Clay Bennett&#8217;s cartoon above.<\/p>\n<p>My God, this presidential campaign season is going to be a lot of fun.<\/p>\n[<em>Ed Note: Maybe for <u>you<\/u>, Perry! -BF<\/em>]\n<p><center><b>* * *<\/b><\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><i>Perry Dorrell blogs as PDiddie at <a href=\"http:\/\/brainsandeggs.blogspot.com\/\">Brains and Eggs<\/a>, usually on topics concerning the strange brew of Texas politics.
