March 2nd, 2005, U.S. House Judiciary Committee's ranking minority
member, Congressman John Conyers sent a letter to all 9 of America's
Voting Machine Companies urging them to follow the recommendations
made in the letter sent to them by Velvet
Revolution's "Divestiture for Democracy" Campaign. The
letter he sent to Walden W. O'Dell, the CEO of Diebold Inc. is
below.
He
also sent a letter to Brad Friedman, co-founder of VR. And the good Congressman also wrote an article about it with a ringing
endorsement on his
blog.
