In
these documents, recently published by the Office of Inspector General (OIG)
at the Florida Dept. of Transportation (FDOT), Federal
Investigators from the Homeland Security Office's Immigration and
Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency confirm that Chinese national Hai Lin Nee (a/k/a Henry Nee), who
Clint
Curtis has charged with being an illegal alien and working for Yang
Enterprises, Inc. (YEI) on top-secret security clearance
contracts, was indeed an illegal alien as of January
1, 2000.
Curtis had reported
the information on Nee to the
FDOT OIG in May of 2000, shortly after Curtis began
working for FDOT. Curtis had previously worked with Nee at YEI. Nee was charged in March 2004 with three counts of espionage for
attempting to ship Hellfire anti-tank missile chips to the People's
Republic of China after being arrested by ICE based on a four-year sting operation.
Nee plead guilty to one of those
counts, and in October 2004 was sentenced to just three years
probation and a $100 fine.
