jaime,
HOW ABOUT THIS: Democrat rips sign from Bush supporter!!!!!! See how horrible these democrats are they took a sign from a little girl and tore it up to make her cry. Just because the guy who took the sign was her brother and not a democrat, just because the father has staged this type of thing before doesnt mean the democrats shouldnt be blamed. Keep it straight jamie. Even when its a load of crap from a republican operative; its the responsibility of democrats.

Who is to say the Demos are not trashing their own headquarters and blaming the Repubs and vice versa?? Do they have witnesses?? Perhaps some one can cook up some phony documents stating Republicans did it. Never mind, thats been done already.

Which phony documents are you referring to, Ed? The ones that Bush reported in his State of the Union, and Powell reported at the U.N. proved that Iraq was buying Uranium from Niger?
Those phony documents? The ones that sent us to war and ended in the "catastrophically successful" death of thousands?

The UN, FRANCE, GERMANY, RUSSIA, CLINTON ADMINSTRATION, KERRY, KENNEDY, at al, all talked about Saddam and his WMDs. I love they way you liberals re-write history!!!!!!!!!!
Do I need to post all of the quotes here again?

The comment was on the FORGED documents about Uranium from Niger. Speak to it, instead of trying to change the subject as usual.

I am sure my next door neighbor has more Uranium than Niger. Or did you mean Nigeria??

You should do the same. You don't stick to the subject any more than I do.

My bad Brad. I thought you were referring to me instead of Paul.

And I was referring also to Niger, not Nigeria.
Niger is where Saddam supposedly sought Uranium according to FORGED DOCUMENTS that were used by both Bush in his State of the Union address, and by Powell in the U.N. to make their case for war.
Has anybody apologized or been fired yet, as you'd like to see Dan Rather, for that?
How many folks died so far because of Rather's forged documents? How many folks die so far because of Bush's?

Never saw the documents you mention. I have never heard of them either. Obviously a cover up of the right wing media. Or more likely I am not paying attention.
I never said Rather should be fired. Maybe corporal punishment would be enough and he would learn his lesson. Doubtful. He should go the way of the unitelligible Tom Brokaw soon anyway.

No wonder you are so well-informed on the issues in this Presidential Election.
Here's some help for you. Every year, the President of the United States gives a State of the Union Address to a joint session of Congress. In 2003, he used it to make the case for his War on Iraq. Here is the secret transcript of that speech, as featured on a site called Whitehouse.gov which is run by the President of the United States. It was also carried LIVE on every National Network and Cable News Channel:
http://www.whitehouse.go...2003/01/20030128-19.html
And then, one week after the above speech, just before attacking Iraq, Colin Powell, (he is the man who is the Secretary of State for the United States of America), went to the United Nations, and in another LIVE broadcast speech, again repeated the information based on the same FORGED DOCUMENTS to further make the case for going to War in Iraq. Here is a transcript of that speech:
http://www.cnn.com/2003/...ll.transcript/index.html
Given you're not familiar with any of those events, why is it that we should have any respect for any comment, thought or idea concerning the President of the United States, or anything that happens in this country that you ever suggest here?

NONE of the statements YOU cite are based on information in hand on the cusp of war. On the eve of the war, with inspectors having been to EVERY site supplied by OUR INTEL we should have seriously reconsidered making a POLICY DECISION based on pre-1998 information FROM THE SAME SOURCE. Of course the neandercons were too busy being chatted up by IRAN's favority guy Chalabi. You remember him right? He sat next to Mrs. Bush at the last SOTU? He was chosen by this administration to be the next leader of Iraq. These folks have made piss poor choices all the way round. And here you are excusing them because of what people were saying based on old info. In case you didnt know the UN was against this war and Mr Annon recently referred to it as illegal.

The intel came from Britian, Bush did not lie, and I think that England has never swayed from this statement:
"The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa. Our intelligence sources tell us that he has attempted to purchase high-strength aluminum tubes suitable for nuclear weapons production. Saddam Hussein has not credibly explained these activities."

"Our intelligence sources tell us"
You mean the guys who make "guesses"? As according to your "President"? You mean the ones that told him not to use those sources in at least three previous speeches because they could not verify the info and suspected it was based on forged documents? (Have you read the 9/11 Report? Or was that just "guessing" as well?)
Try the kool-aid with some vodka. If you're gonna be a brainless zombie, you might as well get a buzz out of it.

Paul,
You are, in fact, incorrect. The Bulter Report said that relaying the uranium claim WITHOUT relaying the fact that the information is partial and incomplete is misleading.
